‘The Bachelor’ Season 21’s Potential Ladies Include ‘Survivor’ Winner Michele Fitzgerald

Hoping to form a new alliance? The Bachelor‘s season 21 lead guy hasn’t even been announced yet, but a source tells Us Weekly exclusively that a recent Survivor winner has thrown her hat into the ring to compete for the mystery man’s affections.

An insider tells Us that Michele Fitzgerald, who won Survivor season 32 in May, attended a Bachelor casting event in New York City last month to land a spot among the suitors.

The Survivor: Kaoh Rong — Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty II winner, 25, is a New Jersey native who has worked as a bartender and travel agent. She earned her B.A. from Montclair State University in New Jersey.

Fitzgerald wouldn’t be the first Bachelor contestant to have previously appeared on another reality TV show. Among the ladies battling for Ben Higgins‘ heart in season 20 were current Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher — who was on the 2013 dating series Ready for Love when her brother Ben was a contestant — and twins Emily and Haley Ferguson, who competed for a cheerleading gig on Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team in 2013.

One guy on Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette who certainly had prior TV experience is Jordan Rodgers. The former NFL quarterback, who is among the final two season 12 men standing (along with Robby Hayes) has been criticized by some of his fellow suitors for seemingly appearing on the show to find fame.

It is not yet known who will be the season 21 Bachelor, although Chase McNary — who was cut during the fantasy-suite episode on Monday, July 25 — told Entertainment Tonight that he has been in “discussions” with producers to land the role. Luke Pell, who was Fletcher’s fourth-place guy, told ET he “definitely would not pass” on a chance to hand out the roses.
