An emotional reconciliation! Tamar & Vince‘s Thursday, February 4, episode features Tamar Braxton breaking down in tears when her sister Towanda Braxton visits her after surgery, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
Tamar, 38, underwent a procedure in December for a vascular disorder called thoracic outlet syndrome after doctors found blood clots in her lungs. The footage shows that after the surgery was a success, her sibling stopped by her hospital room, despite the fact that they hadn’t been getting along.
“Towanda comes to see me in the hospital, and I haven’t seen or talked to Towanda in about three months,” explains Tamar, who had to drop out of Dancing With the Stars season 21 due to the health issue. “It’s just so emotional for me because nothing is worth my sisterhood. I just want to be around my loved ones.”
The singer also admits that it was a struggle to be away from her two-year-old son during her hospital stint.
“That was just really tough, so when Logan came to see me in the hospital, I realized I have to try to get better because the only thing that matters at this point is surviving this, so I could see my little boy grow up,” she says.
