Teresa Giudice attends the "Celebrity Apprentice" Live Finale at American Museum of Natural History on May 20, 2012 in New York City.

Teresa Giudice is no dummy.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 40, may not like discussing her husband's potential prison sentence, but she's prepared to take care of their four daughters should it come to that.

"If Joe goes to jail, there will be sympathy for her," a show source recently told Us Weekly. "And she'll get a spinoff about life as a single mom. She'll do a book deal, too: My Life Without Joe or something like that."

Adds another insider: "I've heard it time and time again: The second Joe goes to jail, Teresa's getting her own show."

To make her dreams — or schemes — come true, Giudice has studied former Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel, 41, who used her fame from the ensemble reality series to create a multimillion-dollar empire that includes books, products and DVDS.

"Teresa will work as hard as she can till she gets to Bethenny status," a Giudice pal told Us.

Giudice "knows this is a critical time for her and any future opportunities, so she doesn't stop working," a source says of the TV star, who is launching a national book tour this month to promote her third cookbook, Fabulicious!: Fast & Fit. "Bravo would definitely give her her own show, especially after this season. There's so much drama."
