‘The Voice’ Season 10 Winner: ‘I’m Just So Grateful Right Now’

Go, Curly Sue! The Voice‘s season 10 finale aired on Tuesday, May 24, revealing the latest winner after performances by artists such as Ariana Grande, Zayn and Sia.

Capping a season for the NBC series that involved some incredible music moments, four singers were still in the running heading into the last episode: Laith Al-Saadi, from Adam Levine‘s team; Adam Wakefield of Team Blake Shelton; Alisan Porter, from Christina Aguilera‘s squad; and Pharrell WilliamsHannah Huston.

In the end, Porter claimed the victory, marking Aguilera’s first-ever win as coach. Wakefield took second, Huston was third, and Al-Saadi landed in fourth.

The Curly Sue actress, 34, tells Us Weekly exclusively that her experience on the NBC competition series has been “amazing.”

“[I] can’t believe it’s over,” she says. “I’m just in awe that I made it all the way here, and that we’re done now. So it’s just crazy and awesome.”

Porter praises her coach, Aguilera, and credits her for helping “me connect to my audience more.”

“I love her to death, and she just embodies perfection vocally, and I aspire so much just to be able to command a stage like her and sing like that,” the winner continues. “We have a really, really great relationship, and I’m just super, super blessed to have chosen her.”

“I’m just so grateful right now,” Porter continues. “It’s just been an amazing journey.”

On Monday’s first part of the finale, each remaining contestant performed a solo song, a duet tune with their coach, and an original song. Al-Saadi sang Cream’s “White Room,” “Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End” with Levine and “Morning Light.” Wakefield’s choices were Vince Gill‘s “When I Call Your Name,” “The Conversation” with Shelton and “Lonesome Broken and Blue.” Porter performed West Side Story‘s “Somewhere,” “You’ve Got a Friend” with Aguilera and “Down That Road,” while Huston’s tunes were The Police’s “Every Breath You Take,” “Brand New” with Williams and “I Call the Shots.”
