Season 20 of The Bachelor has been a dramatic journey. But right before Ben Higgins proposed to Lauren Bushnell, Us Weekly Video accepted a rose from the ABC dating series — kind of.
Us Weekly Video Correspondent Christina Garibaldi and Assistant Editor Jamie Blynn jetted off to Sandals Ochi Beach Resort in Jamaica to get a taste of the romance, luxury and glamour that goes into the final dates of The Bachelor. And after 20 seasons, there have been plenty!
First up, we toured Jamaica at, oh, 150 miles per hour. Yep, we climbed aboard the helicopter that Bushnell, 25, and runner-up JoJo Fletcher took to the proposal area at Rio Chico by Sandals Resorts. Not too shabby.
With adrenaline pumping, we headed to the next stop on our adventure: Blue Hole! On TV, Fletcher, 25, and Higgins, 26, made out under a crystal-blue waterfall. We, on the other hand, scaled said waterfall and did a rope swing, which landed us in the natural spring.

Still not tired out, we set sail on an Island Routes Catamaran Cruise. Sure, the sunset is super romantic. But what you didn’t see on The Bachelor? The wind and rocky waters. Props to those girls for keeping it together!
