We’re just girls and boys, standing in front of a list of movies and TV shows, asking them not to go away. Indeed, anyone hoping to catch Notting Hill should stay out of their local bookstore and watch it now, as the popular 1999 romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant is among the films and TV series that Netflix is breaking up with on Friday, July 1.
Star Trek fans may need to set phasers to mourn, too. With the sci-fi franchise’s latest installment, Star Trek Beyond, hitting theaters Friday, July 22, a whopping seven other films are blasting off from the streaming service on July 1, including 1994’s Star Trek: Generations.
Also packing it in are the 1992 crowd-pleaser A League of Their Own, Stanley Kubrick‘s seminal 1968 sci-fi masterpiece, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and wacky 2004 puppet comedy Team America: World Police.
Among the TV selections set to vanish are Braxton Family Values season 3 and all seven seasons of Patricia Arquette‘s supernatural drama, Medium.
