Amber Portwood Claims Andrew Glennon Has Moved On After Arrest: 'I've Already Talked to Her'

Amber Portwood has broken her silence. For the first time since her July 5 arrest, Amber 29, shared her side of the story. During part two of the Teen Mom OG reunion, she opened up to Dr. Drew, who had traveled to Indiana since she couldn't attend the taping. On July 5, the reality star was arrested following a fight with boyfriend Andrew Glennon. She was charged with two counts of domestic battery and one count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. One report claimed that she had a machete in her hand during the argument, while Andrew was holding their 15-month-old son, James. That report was seemingly the first thing that Amber responded to during the reunion interview that aired on Tuesday, September 3. When the 9-1-1 call played, the operator said he received a text message from someone saying their life and their son's life was in danger. "A text message, by the way. I just want to point that out real quick to everybody. But I ran after him with a machete," Amber said sarcastically. "Let me tell you what, if somebody's coming after me with something like that, I'm calling the f--king police and running out the door." When Dr. Drew asked her if the case was "fiction," she admitted there was "narcism" she didn't understand with Andrew. "If it takes you less than two weeks to ask a woman to come to Indiana," she added, alluding to Andrew dating someone new. "I've already talked to her. She's a good person. She's very nice. She's very sweet." The Never Too Late author then admitted that the situation has "completely ripped my heart out," especially due to her rocky past with Gary Shirley. "You haven't heard s--t for me since then. [I] haven't gotten in trouble one time. All of a sudden, I'm running after my kid with a machete? You're insane," she told Dr. Drew. Not Looking for an Apology

Maci Bookout sat down with Ryan Edwards' parents to discuss Bentley, since Maci still has a restraining order against him. However, she does seem open to the possibility of lifting it.

"I bust my butt to try to make it happen for him," Ryan's mother emotionally said about keeping a relationship between Ryan and his son. "Maci and I have a good relationship, and I think he resents that."

She then revealed Ryan has some things he wants to say to Maci.

"I'll be honest, I'm not even really looking for an apology," Maci responded. "I mean, if he has things he wants to say to me, I'm happy to hear them. ... I'm down with it."

Blended Family

Exes Cory Wharton and Cheyenne Floyd sat down with their significant others, Taylor Selfridge and Matt Walker, respectively, for their segment. While Cheyenne has been open about wanting more children, she and Matt are not there ... yet.

“I think that it’s a beautiful thing that she wants to have another kid,” Matt said. Cheyenne then confirmed to Dr. Drew that she’s on birth control so there are no plans yet.

As for Cory and Taylor, they also talk about the future, but right now are focusing on buying a house and exchanging "I love yous," something that he doesn't feel he has to say.

Unconditional Love

Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell were joined by Tyler’s sister and parents and things got very heated. When Butch Baltierra joined the group, he revealed he had relapsed on cocaine, marijuana and alcohol. Both Tyler and his sister, Amber Baltierra, became emotional over the way Butch had been acting.

Amber spent much of the session crying and yelling because she felt that Butch didn't care about her reaching one year of sobriety, something that was a huge accomplishment. 

Ultimately, Dr. Drew told Tyler he needed to start attending Al-Anon classes because by telling Butch he'd be there no matter what, it was enabling him.

Love for Amber

Gary and Kristina Shirley sat down to share their reaction to Amber's arrest, too, revealing the first thing they thought about was Leah. "She was immediately saddened," Gary said about how Leah, the 10-year-old daughter he shares with Amber, reacted to the news.

"We still don't know what started it," Gary added about his ex's argument with Andrew. "I care about Amber. I have love for her as a person. [She's] the mother of my kid."

Gary also admitted that he got past his fears of Leah having a panic attack and has since put her in therapy.
