Biggest ‘Real Housewives’ Feuds Ever — And Where the Relationships Stand Today

No one can hold a grudge quite like a Real Housewife. From the East Coast to the West Coast, every Housewife series has an iconic feud (or five) that leaves fans forced to pick sides. Over the years, Real Housewives of Potomac viewers were shocked to watch Candiace Dillard's relationship with Monique Samuels turn into a physical fight because of a miscommunication. After initially forming a bond when Candiace joined the Bravo series during season 3, the twosome found each other at odds two seasons later. Their rocky friendship quickly turned into Monique pulling Candiace's hair at a wine tasting and later attempting to run back to continue the fight. “Anytime you get physical, that’s taking it to a whole other level. That’s real life,” Monique explained during an episode of Us Weekly's “Getting Real with the Housewives” podcast in September 2020. “I took that [moment] very seriously, because I’ve not been in any physical altercation since I was in grade school. I’m 36 years old. I have three kids and a whole husband. So, I’m like, ‘This is insane.’ It allowed me to go on a journey of just looking at certain things from childhood or just trying to figure out what are my triggers.” The costars ended up filing lawsuits against one another on the grounds of second-degree assault. Although both assault charges were dismissed in December 2020, Monique announced after the season 5 reunion that she would not be returning to the show. Candiace, for her part, reflected on still struggling with the altercation one year later. "This is never somewhere that I saw myself being at any time. I'm not a fighter. It's not what I do and having gone through this and having dealt with the trauma of it — it's not what I see my legacy being," the former pageant contestant said on The Wendy Williams Show in September 2020. "I don't want this to be representative of me or Black women at all. It's embarrassing. I'm embarrassed." [jwplayer FryXI1XD-zhNYySv2] Meanwhile, in Salt Lake City, fans were introduced to a rift in Jen Shah and Meredith Marks' friendship as soon as season 1 premiered in November 2020. Although Jen and Meredith's bond seemed solid at the beginning of the season, things took a turn when Meredith started to befriend Mary Cosby later on. Meredith was also not thrilled with the way Jen tweeted about her son Brooks as the first season was airing. After the RHOSLC costars seemingly made up during the reunion, Jen's legal issues — she was arrested and charged with fraud and money laundering in March 2021 — created more distance between her and Meredith in season 2. “I can't fathom any attorney advising that she should have [kept filming], which is why I was so surprised. I can understand why she might want to because she might want to get her story out there or profess her innocence or whatever it may be,” Meredith exclusively told Us in September 2021. “She may want to have a voice. I just can't get my head around any lawyer under the sun ever advising a client in the same circumstances.” Before viewers watched Meredith and Jen at odds, the jewelry designer revealed whether they were able to work out their differences. “Innocent until proven guilty at the end of the day,” Meredith shared with Us at the time. “My friendship with Jen is a different standard, it’s not held to legal standards, but in terms of a crime, it is innocent till proven guilty and you know, the court of friendships a little bit different.” Scroll through for an update on where some of the biggest Real Housewives feuds stand today: [podcast_block]

Teddi Mellencamp and Lisa Vanderpump — RHOBH

In season 9, the SUR owner claimed that a puppy fellow Housewife Dorit Kemsley adopted from her Vanderpump Dogs rescue ended up at a kill shelter, forcing the other women to take sides in the disagreement. In March 2019, Teddi confessed to Us that she “made a mistake” by getting involved in the drama for the sake of the show’s story line. “It’s really day by day” she said of how her relationship with her costars in the aftermath of the drama. “We haven’t even shot the reunion yet!” she added. “We just really kind of have to figure it out.”

While Dorit denied mistreating the dog, the feud shifted to be about whether Lisa leaked the story to the press. Lisa quit the show before the reunion, denying that she spoke about the dog to the media.

Three years later, the Celebrity Big Brother alum revealed that she and Vanderpump had finally figured things out. “We did have a nice conversation. We were respectful to one another,” she said on a June 2022 episode of her “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, adding that 5heir relationship had been “healed-ish” after the sit-down. “Ultimately, we just went through it. It was mainly, like, all the things we probably would have said to each other at the reunion, had we had the reunion.”

Karen Huger And Gizelle Bryant — RHOP

Since RHOP aired its first episode in 2016, Karen and Gizelle have openly addressed their issues with one another. After Karen and Gizelle bickered in the premiere season, things escalated after Gizelle wore a shirt poking fun at Ray Huger's legal issues in season 2. The duo later argued when Gizelle claimed that Karen's husband showed interest in her friend and when Karen questioned Gizelle's relationship with her ex-husband, Jamal Bryant.

Where They Stand Today: Karen and Gizelle have continued to work on their friendship amid their many disagreements on screen. After Gizelle threatened to no longer hide any secrets about Karen in the season 6 premiere, the beauty mogul admitted that they later reached a better place.

"Karen and I are in a season in which we got to a better place. So, I probably didn't do as much revealing as I said I was going to," she told Entertainment Tonight in July 2021.

Meredith Marks and Jen Shah — RHOSLC

Meredith and Jen's friendship took a turn for the worst when cameras were on them in season 1. After Brooks Marks expressed his displeasure with Jen's behavior during a sleepover, the Utah native took to social media to "like" negative tweets about her friend's son. Although the costars reached a better place during the season 1 reunion special, Meredith later kept her distance from Jen after she was charged and pleaded not guilty to fraud and money laundering in March 2021.

During season 2, Meredith revealed to the other cast members that one of Jen's assistants allegedly stole a purse from her boutique before returning it the following day. Meredith later hired a private investigator to look into threats made against her family, which she told Jen the PI claimed came from her. Jen, for her part, denied that anyone who worked for her took anything without paying from Meredith and slammed claims that she threatened the Marks family.

Where They Stand Today: Ahead of the season 2 reunion, Jen said on RHOSLC that she thought Meredith had something to do with her being arrested. The Chicago native, for her part, denied any involvement in Jen's arrest but she questioned why her former friend chose to keep filming amid her legal issues.

“Every single one of the ladies, including me … was DM’d information about Jen. So, knowing that and seeing how I could never understand what she did after all the questions that were asked, not just by me, but by the general public, and not understanding what any of these marketing companies were marketing or whatever. Yes, my eyebrows were raised,” Meredith shared with Us in September 2021. “I didn't understand what was going on. Did I think it was something illegal? No. Did I think it was possible? Sure. I mean, anything's possible, but things didn't add up for me and that was problematic.”

Monique Samuels vs. Candiace Dillard — RHOP

While Monique and Candiace’s friendship had ups and downs during seasons 3 and 4, the tension hit the fan during season 5 when they got into a physical altercation. While they both accused the other of second degree assault in legal docs, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office dropped the charges in December 2019.

Where They Stand Today: While season 5 of RHOP didn’t premiere until August 2020, Monique confirmed to Us that she is “completely done” with Candiace.

“One thing that I often hear people say is, ‘When a person shows you who they are, believe them.’ And I believe her. It's just not my cup of tea,” she told Us. “We get to a point where there is confrontation and you can't handle it and you cannot be accountable for your actions or for how you made someone feel, that's an issue. And if you don't want to make those changes, then we'll never be friends.”

Monique ultimately left the series after confirming that she was offered a chance to return for season 6.

Denise Richards vs. Brandi Glanville — RHOBH

Season 10 of the RHOBH made headlines when Brandi alleged she and Denise slept together when she visited the actress on set of a movie in April 2019. Denise tried to shut down the rumors, but the cast quickly took sides, with Kyle, Rinna and Teddi Mellencamp believing Brandi and Dorit Kemsley and Garcelle Beauvais having Denise’s back.

Where They Stand Today: While Brandi maintains that they had an affair, Denise continues to deny the accusations.

Dorinda Medley vs. Ramona Singer — RHONY

During season 11 of the Bravo hit, Dorinda accused Ramona of ditching her at the 2018 Angel Ball after inviting her to come along. Dorinda claimed that Ramona sat elsewhere when they were supposed to be seated at the same table.

In May 2019, Ramona noted on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that she “messed up,” adding, “At the Angel Ball, I really perceived it was a different table. Now, I know never to swear on my daughter’s life because I may look ageless but my mind isn’t. I didn’t get it right.”

Where They Stand Today: In March 2020, Dorinda confirmed to Us exclusively that she is “absolutely not” on good terms with Ramona. “The good thing about me is I stand by my stuff. If I think I did something wrong, I’m quick to say I’m sorry,” she said at the time. “But if I see something wrong, I’m quick to point it out.”

Despite this, Dorinda noted that she and Ramona “go through our stuff” but the duo “eventually always try to work it out.”

Danielle Staub vs. Margaret Josephs — RHONJ

After becoming fast friends during season 8 of RHONJ, Danielle and Margaret’s relationship started falling apart after The Naked Truth author asked Margaret to be a bridesmaid in her wedding to Marty Caffrey during season 9 in 2018. The two women argued leading up to Danielle’s wedding after Margaret accused her of acting like a bridezilla. Their feud heated up during the cast’s trip to Cabo when Danielle accused Margaret of not spending time with her kids. As a result, the two women got into a heated argument and Margaret threw a glass of red wine at Danielle. Hotel security had to be called.

Where They Stand Today: Margaret made it clear during a January 2019 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that the twosome are no longer friends. “It goes below the belt. She talks about my children, about my family,” she explained about their Cabo fight. “She needed to cool off. Seriously. I don’t even drink, so I had to grab Dolores [Catania]’s wine and just throw it right in her face. On her rented dress, you know?”

Kelly Dodd vs. Vicki Gunvalson — RHOC

Vicki and Kelly became fast friends after the latter joined the series for season 11, but their relationship became strained during season 13 after Kelly accused Vicki and Vicki’s boyfriend, Steve Lodge, of playing matchmaker for her ex-husband, Michael Dodd. While Vicki attempted to downplay her role in Michael’s love life, she did reveal she and Steve went on double dates with Kelly’s ex and his new girlfriend. During the season 13 reunion, Kelly stormed off stage after Vicki suggested Kelly did cocaine. 

Where They Stand Today: While Kelly and Vicki made up during the season 13 reunion, Kelly backtracked after Us Weekly’s exclusive trailer for the special aired and claimed she would leave RHOC if Vicki was a part of the show because of the drug comments. “If they don’t do something to Vicki how could I go back … I’m not going to sell my soul for this ratchet liar!” Kelly replied to a fan in November 2018 via Instagram. “They [are] running that show to the ground and hurting people’s reputation and my brand !!” The following month, Vicki clapped back in a since-deleted tweet, claiming that Kelly would remain on the show because has “no job or career.” In response, Kelly called Vicki “jealous.” 

Kelly celebrated when Vicki was demoted to "friend" for season 14 and jumped for joy when she left for good ahead of season 15.

Aviva Drescher vs. Carole Radziwill — RHONY 

Use your vocabulary, writer girl! While Aviva fangirled over Carole and her 2005 memoir, What Remains, during season 5, she changed her tune during season 6 and accused Carole of using a ghostwriter. The two never saw eye to eye again on the series and Aviva exited the show after book-gate in 2014. 


Where They Stand Today: Aviva slammed Carole again in May 2018, calling her “strategic” and “extremely contrived” during an appearance on the “The Reality Rundown Podcast.” The Leggy Blonde author then claimed Carole was still a part of the series because of her friendship with Andy Cohen. “Let me make it clear why Carole is 100 percent on the show. She is best friends with Andy for many many years. That’s a political game over there,” she alleged. “She’s positioned herself and made herself popular on social media. She’s very well set up over there where she really doesn’t have to do anything.” Carole and Cohen never publicly replied, but the WWHL host did deny Aviva’s claims that she was forced to drink on the show in June 2018.

Phaedra Parks vs. Kandi Burruss — RHOA

Phaedra and Kandi's friendship suffered after the lawyer accused the musician of not being supportive during her split from husband Apollo Nida during season 8. The former friends argued over Kandi storing Apollo's motorcycles in her garage and Phaedra's decision to not let her two sons visit Apollo in jail. The following season, Kandi accused Phaedra of cheating on Apollo before his sentence started. Their feud erupted, however, during the season 9 reunion after Phaedra admitted that she was the one who told Porsha Williams about Kandi and husband Todd Tucker's alleged plan to drug Porsha and have sex with her. (A rumor Kandi denied.) “I repeated it because I heard it. Something was brought to me. I just repeated it. I repeated what someone told me," Phaedra tried to explain to an understandably upset Kandi. "I’m not saying I didn’t say it. I’m saying I repeated it.”


Where They Stand Today: Phaedra was fired from RHOA after the drug allegations and Kandi made it clear she had no intentions to ever befriend her again during a January 2018 appearance on WWHL. "Nope! Nope and Nope. ... Haven't seen her, haven't talked to her, haven't heard from her," Kandi told the host about her former costar.

Margaret Josephs vs. Siggy Flicker — RHONJ

While Siggy technically introduced Margaret to the group during season 8 of RHONJ, the friendship between the two women was fleeting. After struggling to find common ground throughout the season, their relationship hit its lowest point after Siggy accused Margaret of being anti-Semitic for making a reference to Adolf Hitler. “But Siggy, Hitler would have not killed me. Does that make him a good person?” Margaret asked the relationship expert during a conversation about befriending someone who speaks badly about your other friends. 



Where They Stand Today: Despite Margaret's multiple attempts to reconcile, Siggy announced her departure from RHONJ before the season even finished airing. Months later, Margaret revealed she and Siggy are still not on good terms. “I ran into her at my hair salon and she was appalled when I walked in. She was like, ‘Oh!’" the designer told Reality Blurb in November 2018. "She’s not over it! ... I’ve seen her, but we aren’t speaking."

Bethenny Frankel vs. Jill Zarin — RHONY 

Bethenny and Jill's friendship took a turn when The Real Housewives of New York City returned for season 3 in 2010. Bethenny accused Jill of being jealous of her newfound success, while Jill claimed Bethenny wasn't there for her during her husband Bobby Zarin's cancer scare. The two women refused to make up with one another at different points over the course of the season, before the Skinnygirl creator exited the series ahead of season 4.


Where They Stand Today: Years later, it was Bobby who brought the former best friends together again. After he lost his battle to cancer in January 2018, Bethenny attended the funeral and had a heartfelt moment with Jill outside of the service, which aired on season 9 of the Bravo show. She later revealed during the season 9 reunion that she introduced her daughter, Bryn, to Jill and the women have been in touch.

Brandi Glanville vs. Lisa Vanderpump — RHOBH

Brandi and Lisa bonded during season 3 of RHOBH, but there was minor tension between the two women after the restaurant owner asked her friend to sit down with Scheana Marie, a SURver who had an affair with Brandi’s then-husband, Eddie Cibrian. Brandi agreed, and the conversation helped launched Lisa’s successful spinoff, Vanderpump Rules. A year later, Brandi was forced to see Scheana again at one of Lisa’s parties and after Lisa suggested Brandi and Scheana talk again, Brandi refused and claimed Lisa was choosing the waitress over her. Things between the costars seemingly hit a point of no return during the season 4 trip to Puerto Rico after Brandi accused Lisa of bringing tabloids, which accused Kyle Richards’ husband of cheating, on the trip. The next two seasons featured awkward housewarming invitations, playful slaps and no signs of reconciliation. 


Where They Stand Today: After Brandi left the series in 2015, she accused Lisa of “still ruining” her life on her podcast in 2017 by preventing guests, including Scheana, from appearing. Later that year, Lisa told E! News that she would never make up with Brandi because she “takes it to a whole other level and I don’t even want to kind of dignify that with an answer.” Brandi, however, admitted exclusively to Us in November 2018 that she felt “sorry” for Lisa amid her drama with the season 9 cast. “I’ve been in her shoes where no one wants to film with you,” she said. Still, it does not seem likely that the two women will share a glass of rosé anytime soon.

Tamra Judge vs. Vicki Gunvalson vs. Gretchen Rossi — RHOC 

The alliances between Tamra, Vicki and Gretchen were constantly changing during seasons 4-8 of RHOC. From accusing each other of being unfaithful to their respective husbands and fiancés to tricking each other into drinking too much (#NakedWasted), things changed for good in season 8 after Vicki highjacked the bachelorette party Gretchen planned for Tamra in Puerto Vallarta. While one unplanned trip to Andales marked the beginning of the end of Gretchen and Tamra's friendship, things between the handbag designer and the Coto insurance founder got worse after Gretchen and friend Lauri Peterson told the girls that Vicki had a threesome. (The residents of Whistler, Canada, may still be able to hear Vicki screaming about not having multiple partners.) 

Where They Stand Today: While Vicki managed to salvage her friendships with both Gretchen (who left the series after season 8) and Tamra, the other two women cannot say the same. According to paperwork filed by their former costar Alexis Bellino's ex-husband, Jim Bellino, in September 2018, Gretchen and her partner, Slade Smiley, offered to testify against Tamra in Jim's lawsuit against her for making “morally corrupt” comments about him and Alexis. In Tamra's response, she called the motion “foundationless” and “conclusory hearsay.”

Bethenny Frankel vs. Carole Radziwill — RHONY

After Bethenny returned to RHONY for season 7 in 2015, she became fast friends with Carole. The two women traveled together in between seasons and stuck by one another during seasons 8 and 9. When season 10 came around, however, their relationship changed. They tried to explain their respective reasons for the rift throughout the season, with Bethenny accusing Carole of changing and Carole essentially calling Bethenny needy. The former besties also fought over Carole's on-off boyfriend Adam Kenworthy after he did not accept the businesswoman's offer to photograph one of her mission trips without pay. 


Where They Stand Today: As of the season 10 reunion, which filmed in July 2018, there is little to no hope for Bethenny and Carole to become friends again. They argued over text messages, Carole's blogs (in which she tended to slam Bethenny) and all of the names they called each other during the season. The author did, however, tell Us Weekly exclusively in September 2018 that she sent Bethenny a "handwritten note" after the Shark Tank star’s on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields died that August. While Bethenny did not respond, Carole didn't take it personally: "There’s no reason to respond back. I remember when my husband [Anthony Radziwill] passed away [in 1999]. I really appreciated people who wrote. Email was around, but not necessarily texting. But to get a note in the mail was really nice, and there’s no pressure to respond to that.”

During a June 2019 appearance on WWHL, Bethenny revealed that she recently saw Carole. "I ran into her at a charity event a couple of months ago. We had a really nice time. I saw her at the bar, we had a conversation, we talked about Adam and just life,” she said. “You know, it was nice. We actually just had a moment. It was clean. I like when things are clean."

In May 2022, Carole told Us that she hasn’t spoken to Bethenny in “years,” noting, “I didn't even know she was engaged or to be married. So good for her. … That [friendship] was a business one, I think. I mean, I’ve come to learn that it was show-related and neither of us are on the show anymore, but I wish her well. I didn't know she was getting married so good for her.”

Porsha Williams vs. NeNe Leakes — RHOA

After NeNe took Kandi’s side during the Old Lady Gang restaurant owner’s season 9 fight with Porsha and Phaedra, the New Normal actress had a new enemy of her own. “Those are the two I would get rid of right away, honey. They’re de-classing the show and the franchise,” NeNe said during a May 2017 appearance on WWHL. At the time, Porsha responded and claimed NeNe had not spoken to her for two years. During season 10 of RHOA, the two women confronted one another about their comments in the press.“You fake as hell. You done sat on that show and say you wanted me fired,” Porsha said during a November 2017 episode. “So your thing is to build someone up and then tear them down and then say you wanted them fired? ‘Cause I think that’s very low down.”

Where They Stand Today: Porsha and NeNe put their past behind them during season 10 of RHOA, but the two women shaded each other on social media in December 2018 after Porsha implied that NeNe told her the women were gossiping about her boyfriend Dennis during a season 11 episode. “When you a ride or die chick!!!! Hey lil sis, i got your back! Lil sis: yeah ok! Then throws big sis under the bus! What the f—k,” NeNe wrote on Instagram. Porsha clapped back and claimed NeNe “knows that was editing.” “So you text me and ask me a question then make an assumption,” Porsha added on Instagram. “Now you come on social media and blast me ! Bitch you got me twisted. #fakeash—t #cutthecrap.” 

The pair attempted to smooth things over during season 12, and NeNe thanked Porsha for having her back during the May 2020 reunion. “Looks like my lil’ sis Porsha Williams held it all the way down,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you P for keeping it real, standing up and having my back like a G. Y’all go show Porsha some love tonight.”

Kim Richards vs. Kyle Richards — RHOBH

Nothing raises the stakes like a family feud. The siblings’ relationship hit its lowest point during the season 1 finale of RHOBH after Kim, who was no longer sober, accused Kyle and husband Mauricio Umansky of "stealing [her] goddamn house." While the Bravo stars struggled to agree on whether or not Kyle and Mauricio buying Kim’s share of their late mother's home was fair, they attempted to move past their infamous fight in the back of a limo. The sisters, whose relationship remained rocky over the years, hit another rough patch at the season 5 reunion after Kyle accused Kim's dog Kingsley of biting her then 18-year-old daughter, Alexia. The two women both revealed that they did not speak for months after the alleged incident. During the next two seasons, Kyle tried to be supportive of Kim's sobriety journey, but the former child star often accused her sister of not having her back with the other women. 

Where They Stand Today: Since Kim's departure from RHOBH after season 7, her relationship with Kyle appears to be on better terms. "I'm good with both my sisters today. I have a great relationship with both of them," Kim told Entertainment Tonight about Kyle and their half-sister, Kathy Hilton, in August 2018. "Family is important and I just didn't think there's a reason for anybody or anything to get in the way of it, so we're all good."

Kyle and Kim proved to be a in good place when the latter made a series of cameos on season 10 of RHOBH in 2020.

Teresa Giudice vs. Melissa Gorga — RHONJ

Another sister showdown. When Melissa joined her sister-in-law on RHONJ during season 3, fans quickly learned that the two women did not get along after an argument between Teresa and her brother, Joe Gorga, who is married to Melissa, at a christening turned into an physical fight. The tension continued after Melissa made a dig at Teresa in a housewarming card and the Skinny Italian author slammed Melissa for bringing sprinkle cookies to Christmas (the Giudices prefer pignoli cookies!). While the two women called a truce going into season 4, their relationship suffered another blow after Melissa found out Teresa called her a gold digger and got involved in stripper-gate a.k.a rumors that Melissa was a stripper in the past.

Where They Stand Today: While Teresa and Melissa eventually made amends, the two women hit another rough patch during season 9 after Teresa accused her brother, Joe, of not being there for their father. The two women also argued over the new additions to the group, Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Aydin.

Though the two women were able to put their differences aside — yet again — during season 10, their relationship became frosty in season 13 when Teresa discussed a rumor that Melissa cheated on Joe. In the aftermath, neither Melissa nor Joe attended Teresa's August 2022 wedding to Luis Ruelas.

Carole Radziwill vs. Luann de Lesseps — RHONY

The princess and the countess found themselves one-upping each other when Carole joined the show for season 5 in 2012. The tension between the two women increased in season 7 when Carole started dating Luann’s niece’s ex-boyfriend Adam Kenworthy after she met him at Luann’s house. As a result, Luann called Carole a pedophile because Adam is 20 years younger than the author. When season 10 was airing in April 2018, Luann called Carole and castmate Tinsley Mortimer “mean girls” on Twitter for comments they made about her controversial Diana Ross Halloween costume and her brief marriage to Tom D'Agostino.


Where They Stand Today: Carole and Luann attempted to put their issues regarding Adam behind them, but after the former journalist decided to leave the series in July 2018, Luann (and Bethenny) suggested at one of her cabaret shows that Carole was actually fired from the show. Carole, who told Us in October 2018 that the only costar she stays in touch with is Ramona Singer, responded to a fan who asked her about Luann’s claims on Twitter, writing, “I’m all good! Luann should focus on her own addictions and family problems. I wish her the best.”

Tamra Judge vs. Jeana Keough — RHOC

After Tamra split from then-husband Simon Barney at the end of season 5 of RHOC, she accused Jeana of trashing her in the press. As her divorce and custody battle became more and more contentious, Tamra confronted Jeana about her comments again during the season 6 finale and ended up throwing wine in Jeana's face. The following season, Jeana's daughter, Kara, confronted Tamra about the incident and encouraged the two women to make up. 

Where They Stand Today: Despite making up during the season 7 finale, Tamra made it clear she had no interest in being friends with Jeana, who no longer appears on the show, during an episode of Heather McDonald's "Juicy Scoop" podcast in June 2018. “There is a reason why I threw wine in her face. The girl’s a bitch,” Tamra told the comedian. "She starts supporting my ex-husband because she’s a f—king bitch. ... She’s a nasty human being.”

Fast-forward to 2020, and Tamra sent the Keough Family some love after Kara’s newborn son and Jeana’s ex-husband Matt died within weeks of each other.

Porsha Williams vs. Kandi Burruss — RHOA

After a make-out session during season 9 of RHOA, Kandi claimed Porsha wanted to have sex with her. As a result, Porsha clapped back with a series of her own accusations, including alleging that Kandi's husband, Todd Tucker, was unfaithful, claiming that the pair had a sex dungeon and claiming Kandi previously dated a woman. The most damaging allegation, however, was Porsha alleging that someone told her Kandi and Todd planned to drug her and their friend Shamea Morton to take advantage of them. (Kandi denied the allegation.) 

Where They Stand Today: While Phaedra Parks admitted during the season 9 reunion that she was the one who told Porsha about Kandi and Todd's alleged drug plan, Phaedra maintained that she never told Porsha that she heard about it directly from Kandi. Porsha then apologized to Kandi because she believed Phaedra told her accurate information. As the two women struggled to move past the incident, their rift took another hit during season 11 after Kandi claimed she knew dirt about Porsha's then-boyfriend, Dennis McKinley.

Lisa Vanderpump vs. Kyle Richards — RHOBH

While Lisa and Kyle started the series as close friends, their relationship hit a rough patch during season 2 of RHOBH after Kyle called the restauranteur “calculated” at the reunion. "Being in a friendship with you is like playing chess with Bobby Fischer,” the American Woman producer said. While Lisa claimed to move past the diss, the comment reared its ugly head multiple times over the years. Their relationship hit another bump during the aforementioned tabloid-gate in Puerto Rico during season 4, but through it all, Lisa and Kyle almost always attempt to move on and show their loyalty to one another. 

Where They Stand Today: Us broke the news in October 2018 that Lisa was on the outs with her RHOBH costars, including Kyle, who got into a heated argument with Lisa’s husband, Ken Todd, while filming season 9. Despite Lisa reportedly refusing to film with her castmates, Kyle told Us exclusively in November 2018 that she still wanted to be friends with the Vanderpump Rules star. Later that month, Lisa clapped back in an interview with Us: “Don’t tell me, show me!” Weeks later, Kyle maintained that she has done everything she can to reconcile with her costar. “I have made an effort. Emails and text messages and, you know, I don’t know what else to do,” Kyle told Us in November 2018. “As far as I’m concerned, the ball is in her court.” 

After skipping the reunion, Lisa officially quit RHOBH after nine seasons in June 2019 and the two women never made up.

Meghan King Edmonds vs. Vicki Gunvalson — RHOC

Season 10 of RHOC turned into Vicki vs. everyone after Meghan joined the cast and accused the insurance agent's then-boyfriend Brooks Ayers of faking cancer. As Meghan continued to collect evidence, Vicki and Brooks maintained that he was ill and Vicki went after Meghan's marriage to then-husband Jim Edmonds. After Vicki and Brooks finally broke up, she managed to be somewhat civil with Meghan for the next two seasons until the blogger exited ahead of season 13.

Where They Stand Today: Vicki reignited their feud during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in December 2017. "Truly no desire to see her. She lives in St. Louis, I don’t even know what she was doing on our show anyway,” Vicki told Us about her former castmate. “She lives in St. Louis, she’s pregnant, she has her husband, they’re going to have six kids, she’s not friends with anybody. I don’t know what the correlation with her is." Meghan shot back calling the self-proclaimed OG of the O.C. "desperate." “She says she doesn’t care about me, yet she’s one of my top engagers on Instagram — I don’t even follow her — and she’s talking about me," Meghan told Us exclusively. "It’s laughable. Additionally, I’m really close with Tamra and Shannon [Beador], so goes to show how little she knows them.” Meghan also threw subtle shade at Vicki in October 2018 after she pointed out how similar Vicki's season 13 reunion look was to the green dress Meghan wore the season prior.

Bethenny Frankel vs. Ramona Singer — RHONY

After a rocky first two seasons and a trip to the Brooklyn Bridge gone bad, Bethenny and Ramona became friendly during season 3 of RHONY. (Ramona was one of the only two Housewives to attend Bethenny's 2013 nuptials to Jason Hoppy.) But when the Skinnygirl Jeans designer returned to the Bravo series for season 7 in 2015, it was clear they didn't really keep in touch. While Ramona appeared on Bethenny's short-lived talk show, the appearance turned into a moment of contention after Bethenny accused Ramona of not returning a dress she borrowed from production. During the season 7 cast trip to Turks and Caicos, Bethenny lost it on Ramona and accused her of being selfish: "'Me' is your favorite word," she said at the time. "Your logo should be True Me!" Fast forward to season 9, and the two women were at each other's throats again in the Berkshires, and Ramona accused Bethenny of sleeping her way to the top. 


Where They Stand Today: Bethenny and Ramona have made up many times over the years, but always find themselves going at it again. After Bethenny opted not to attend Ramona’s skincare launch in the season 10 finale, Ramona accused Bethenny of not supporting other women. As a result, Bethenny tweeted that her skincare line “doesn’t exist.” At the season 10 reunion, which filmed in July 2018, the jewelry designer called Bethenny “opportunistic” for filming her reunion with Jill Zarin at Bobby Zarin’s funeral. The pair had ups and downs during season 11, but it's safe to say they didn't keep in touch with Bethenny when she left the show for a second time ahead of season 12.

Kelly Dodd v. Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge — RHOC

Kelly's relationships with Shannon and Tamra got off to a rough start after Kelly joined the cast in season 11 and became fast friends with Vicki, one year after the Brooks' cancer scandal. The drama escalated at Shannon's '70s party when Kelly accused Shannon of setting her up and gossiping about Kelly's past with her friends. As the tension continued to build, Kelly and Tamra went head to head in Ireland after Shannon revealed Kelly was talking about Tamra's estranged relationship with her daughter. "You bitch, you talk about my daughter and I'll f—king kill you!" the CUT Fitness owner yelled before pushing her costar. The next season, Shannon and Kelly had it out at The Quiet Women as they continued to deal with the drama from the season prior. 

Where They Stand Together: After Tamra, Shannon and Kelly buried the hatchet during season 12, the three women returned for season 13 closer than ever. Kelly even helped Vicki befriend Tamra and Shannon again after cancer-gate, which she revealed she regretted in November 2018 after Vicki accused Kelly of doing cocaine during the season 13 reunion. “If it wasn’t for me, she would’ve been out Tamra and Shannon didn’t want to film with her,” she wrote on Instagram. “I shouldn’t have had her back she would be gone. ... They can have her I’m out! I don’t need this s—t!”

While both Shannon and Tamra remained on rocky ground with Kelly during season 14, alliances again shifted after Tamra wasn’t asked back for season 15 in 2020. And after Shannon and Kelly became friends again, Tamra claimed her former bestie stopped answering her calls.

Kim Zolciak vs. NeNe Leakes — RHOA

While Kim and NeNe started theAtlanta Housewives closer than ever, their friendship took a hit after NeNe started questioning Kim's relationship with her then-boyfriend Lee "Big Poppa" Najjar, who was allegedly married. The drama with "Big Poppa" came to a head during the season 1 reunion as NeNe repeatedly yelled, "Close your legs to married men." Things turned physical between the two women during season 3 after NeNe accused Kim of mistreating her assistant, Sweetie. While NeNe told Kim that she regretted their feud during a joint appearance on WWHL in 2014, the costars were at each other's throats again when the "Wig" singer returned to RHOA for season 10 after Kim's eldest daughter, Brielle Biermann, filmed videos allegedly showing cockroaches in NeNe's home. After the Glee alum and other RHOA cast members accused Kim and Brielle of being racist at the season 10 reunion, the Don't Be Tardy star claimed she would never return to the series.


Where They Stand Today: After exchanging insults on social media throughout season 10, Kim reached out to NeNe after her husband, Gregg Leakes, was diagnosed with cancer. “What can i say other than THANK YOU! Thank you @kimzolciakbiermann for your thoughtful gift!” NeNe captioned a photo of Kim's package of presents in June 2018. “Opening your box is like Christmas! Just all kinds of goodies."

Kim Richards vs. Lisa Rinna — RHOBH 

After Lisa questioned Kim’s sobriety because of her behavior at poker party during season 5 of RHOBH, the Melrose Place alum apologized during a dinner in Amsterdam and explained her family’s struggles with addiction. Kim, however, did not accept her apology and implied she knew something about Lisa’s husband, Harry Hamlin. Lisa then snapped and threw her wine glass in Kim’s direction. Things between the two women escalated again in season 7 after Lisa told Eden Sassoon that Kim was “close to dying.” After denying it for the majority of the season, Lisa admitted she questioned Kim’s sobriety again and wanted to bury the hatchet. Kim had other ideas, however, and infamously shut down the possibility of a friendship by returning the bunny Lisa bought for Kim’s grandson at the season 7 reunion. 

Where They Stand Today: When Kim made a brief appearance on season 9 of RHOBH in May 2019, the two women had a pleasant conversation, agreeing to put the past behind them.

LeeAnne Locken vs. Brandi Redmond — RHOD

After getting off to a rough start during season 1 (LeeAnne probably still hasn't forgiven Brandi for wearing that poop-themed hat to her charity event), LeeAnne and Brandi shocked fans by bonding in between seasons and returning for season 2 as friends. Their relationship was short-lived, however, with costars Cary Deuber and Stephanie Hollman accusing LeeAnne of trying to make Brandi choose between the other women and pointing out the former carnival kid's alleged anger management issues. During the series' third season, Brandi and LeeAnne raised the stakes after the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader accused LeeAnne of hiding something in her relationship with Rich Emberlin and LeeAnne accused Brandi of having a drinking problem and implied she and husband Brian Redmond adopted their baby boy to "save their marriage." The pair also fought throughout the season 3 cast's trip to Copenhagen and nearly got into a physical altercation at the finale party after LeeAnne accused Brandi of stealing her phone.


Where They Stand Today: LeeAnne called Brandi a "mean girl" in her BravoTV blog in November 2018 and claimed her castmate is "always going to find a reason to hate [her.]" Brandi clapped back in her own blog that week, proclaiming that isn't "scared" of LeeAnne. "She really feels like she can go around and spread whatever gossip she wants and no one is going to call her out on it. In true LeeAnne fashion, when she is backed in a corner with no way to defend her actions, she resorts to threats and physical violence," Brandi wrote. "You can growl at me all you want honey, I am not scared of you."

Teresa Giudice vs. Jacqueline Laurita — RHONJ

Teresa and Jacqueline’s friendship took a turn during season 3 of RHONJ after the Fabulicious author poked fun at Jacqueline’s sister-in-law, Caroline Manzo, in her new cookbook. The following season, the two women got heated during a conversation about reports that Teresa was going to prison after she and husband Joe Giudice were accused of fraud and about the aforementioned stripper-gate. Jacqueline also set Teresa off after she said she believed a rumor about her husband, Joe, being unfaithful. While the pair vowed to move forward during season 7 after Teresa finished her prison sentence, their past drama proved to be too much to overcome.

Where They Stand Today: After Jacqueline left RHONJ ahead of season 8, the two women kept their distance from one another. When reports surfaced in January 2018 that Jacqueline and Caroline might return to the show, however, Teresa did not hold back. “Do I want to reconcile being friends with them again? No. They're both evil people and I really don't want anything to do with evil people,” she told E! News. “I don't, but if I have to give them a piece of my mind I will." (Jacqueline and Caroline have not rejoined the show as of January 2022.)

Brandi Glanville vs. Kyle Richards — RHOBH

While both Kyle and Kim's friendships with Brandi got off to a rough start when she joined the series for season 2, it was Kyle's relationship with the newbie that never recovered from their game night showdown, which included Kyle and Kim calling Brandi a “slut pig.” Throughout the next couple seasons, Kyle often accused Brandi of not being a good influence on Kim and her sobriety, while Brandi accused the former Kyle by Alene Too store owner of being an enabler and wanting her sister to fail. 

Where They Stand Today: After another showdown in Amsterdam, Kyle happily said goodbye to Brandi after she left the series at the end of season 6. Brandi, however, did admit in January 2018 that she likes Kyle — offscreen. “When there's no cameras and it’s just you and her, she can do whatever she wants and there’s no repercussion. It’s weird because I like Kyle off camera, not on camera because they are two different people," Brandi claimed on the "Everything Iconic With Danny Pellegrino" podcast. Kyle, for her part, revealed during an appearance on the "Bitch Sesh" podcast in March 2018 that she doesn't speak to Brandi and doesn't ask Kim, who is still friends with her former costar, for updates. "She would always find that worst lie and bring it up to make it something worse," Kyle said of Brandi. "You feel so on guard and you knew she was coming after someone at all times. It was not a good feeling, you know?" 

Hell froze over in the 90210 in 2019 when Brandi and Kyle made amends after running into each other at the post office. Kyle even took Brandi’s side when she feuded with Denise Richards during season 10.

Porsha Williams vs. Kenya Moore — RHOA

Porsha and Kenya got off to a rocky start during season 5 after Porsha referred to the former Miss USA as Miss America. The costars then went at it during the season 6 reunion after Kenya accused Porsha of cheating on her ex-husband Kordell Stewart. After the two women both accused each other of being whores, Porsha pulled Kenya’s hair and they started physically fighting. Kenya then tried to demand that Porsha be fired from the show. Reunions continued to be a point of contention for the two castmates, arguing about the past during the season 7, 9 and 10 specials.  

Where They Stand Today: After the former pageant queen exited the series ahead of season 11, Porsha and Kenya, who were both pregnant at the time, revealed that they were on good terms as they showed off their baby bumps together on Instagram in October 2018. Later that month, Porsha even attended Kenya’s baby shower. During season 12, however, the ladies didn’t exactly see eye to eye and the 2020 reunion ended with Porsha calling Kenya a “fake friend.”

Teresa Giudice vs. Danielle Staub — RHONJ

Teresa and Danielle's feud gifted RHONJ fans one of the most memorable moments in Housewives history: Teresa's infamous table flip. After the season 1 cast discovered a book about Danielle's shady past, the women confronted Danielle about the accusations made about her in Cop Without a Badge. As the conversation proceeded to get more and more heated, Teresa accused her costar of being a "prostitution whore, [who was] f—king engaged nineteen times" and flipped the dinner table over. Their feud continued during season 2, hitting another low point as they chased each other through a country club after the Posche fashion show. At the second season reunion, Teresa got into Danielle's face (and subsequently pushed host Andy Cohen) after Danielle accused Teresa of not being there for her family. 

Where They Stand Today: Teresa shocked fans in October 2016 after she shared a photo of herself and Danielle doing yoga together six years after Danielle left the show. As a result, Danielle rejoined the series in a friend role for seasons 8 and 9 and the former enemies have bonded, with Teresa serving as the matron of honor at Danielle's May 2018 wedding to Marty Caffrey. “We speak more than once a day," Danielle told the DailyMail in May 2018. "We're legitimately friends, it was something that was worth salvaging and has turned into the relationship it should have always been." 

Us confirmed the two women were at odds again while filming season 10 of RHONJ in June 2019. “By the end of the season, there was a lot of finger-pointing between Teresa and Danielle and it led to their falling out,” an insider told Us. A second source added that Teresa and Danielle have “unfollowed each other and aren’t speaking.”

The end of their friendship played out in the season 10 finale when Danielle revealed Teresa was the one who told her to pull Margaret’s ponytail earlier in the season.
