The Most Famous Reality TV Couples Of All Time!Sweet potatoes and milk, anyone? The luxury real estate agent was a force to be reckoned with during JoJo Fletcher’s season 12 of The Bachelorette in 2016. He was accused of taking steroids, got into heated arguments, ripped fellow contestant Evan Bass’ shirt and at one point had to be followed around by a security guard.
A match made in drama heaven! The reality couple repeatedly fought with Heidi’s BFF Lauren Conrad on MTV’s The Hills. LC and Heidi’s friendship crumbled because of Spencer’s behavior. To make matters worse, the fashion designer accused the pair of saying that she had an alleged sex tape.
Bad girls finish first? The Arizona-based model won the heart of Ben Flajnik during season 16 of The Bachelor in 2012 — but didn’t make any friends. She often poked fun at other cast members and raised eyebrows when she went skinny-dipping with Flajnik. The couple called off their engagement months later.
Don’t mess with Dick! Dick Donato was best known for his obnoxious behavior and dirty game play in season 8 of Big Brother in 2008. (He returned for season 13 with his daughter, Daniele Donato, in 2011.) In his first stint, he memorably got in a heated argument with costar Jen Johnson when she hid his cigarettes.
That mouth, though! The former TV news anchor turned model wanted nothing to do with her costars in Ben Higgins’ season 20 of The Bachelor. She rubbed people the wrong way when she hogged Higgins and called contestant Amanda Stanton, a mom of two, a “teen mom.”
Gimme dat rose! The Kentucky native went from a sweetheart on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season 11 of The Bachelorette to one of the biggest villains ever on Bachelor in Paradise. In the show’s second season, Bailey ditched Juelia Kinney for Samantha Steffen. It was later revealed that Bailey and Steffen spoke before filming and planned to get together all along.
What’s the deal? Steffen and Joe Bailey’s romance on season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise went from sweet to sour — and fast. Bailey led costar Juelia Kinney on before Steffen arrived on the show. He later alleged that Steffen told him to do whatever it took to not get sent home, which she denied several times.
Did she deserve the hate? Poe got a bad rap during Chris Soules’ season 19 of The Bachelor in 2015. Some of her costars thought she spoke often about her late husband, Sanderson, to take advantage of the situation. Additionally, many believed she pretended to pass out before a rose ceremony to ensure that she stayed for another week.
“Brendonnn!” Reilly annoyed her season 12 Big Brother cast members to no end in 2010 — thanks mainly to her showmance with costar Brendon Villegas. (The couple married in 2012 and welcomed a daughter in April 2016.) She often got into verbal altercations, called out floaters and became a target for winning so many competitions.
Yikes. The Texas model received major backlash for racist remarks she made during season 15 of Big Brother in 2013. “Being Southern, it is a stereotype, and I have said some things that have been taken completely out of context and wrong. I do not mean to ever come off racist,” she told host Julie Chen in her exit interview. “That is not me, and I apologize to anyone I have offended for that.”
The original BB villains! Dr. Will and Boogie took no prisoners during season 2 of Big Brother in 2001. The costars turned BFFs called themselves “Chilltown” and often did joint confessional interviews. They repeatedly lied to and blindsided their fellow cast members, throwing them under the bus in order to stay safe in the house.
“Stephennn!” The fashion designer was once painted as the popular bad girl in MTV’s Laguna Beach. In 2016, she revealed that she was very unhappy during the show. “Laguna Beach was really our lives being manipulated,” she said on the blog Momtastic. “It’s funny because on Laguna Beach I came off like the person who really had my s--t together. But I was a mess — like most teenagers.”
Drama! Staub fought with every single one of her cast members on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. In season 1, she memorably argued with Teresa Giudice over the book Cop Without a Badge, which alleged that Staub was a former prostitute. Giudice got so angry that she flipped a table at a fancy restaurant.
Pivarnick’s Jersey Shore costars didn’t like her as soon as they learned that she packed her clothes in garbage bags and not a suitcase. The Staten Island native got into arguments with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi before exiting the series in its first season.
Blunt Brit! The former American Idol judge had absolutely no filter when he was on the Fox singing competition from 2002 to 2010. He wouldn’t hold back if he thought a contestant was rubbish or had a terrible voice, which often led to so … many … tears. He starred alongside fellow judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, and reunited with them in 2016 during its season 15 series finale.
Worst roommate ever. The reality star rubbed everyone the wrong way during season 3 of The Real World: San Francisco in 1994. He used his fingers to eat peanut butter out of the jar, blew “snot rockets” on the daily and mocked gay costar Pedro Zamora, who was living with AIDS and died later that year.
The mom of two clashed with just about everyone when she starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2009 to 2015. “She’s out of control. She’s just a s--t-starter, and everyone is tired of it,” a source told Us Weekly in June 2015. She also notably aired her dirty laundry with her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, who cheated on her with LeAnn Rimes.
Don’t mess! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has had numerous showdowns with her No. 1 nemesis Porsha Williams on the Bravo series. “As a whole, there are going to be depictions of us that are negative and depictions of us that are positive, and then you’re going to have a bit of both,” she told EURweb in January 2015. “I think what makes our show successful overall is that we are showing real live people argue.”
The Teen Mom vet rarely saw eye to eye with her costars Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout, and often got into arguments with her mom, Debra Danielson. She’d go on to feud with stars such as Kendall Jenner, Blac Chyna and Nicki Minaj and her costars on season 16 of Celebrity Big Brother UK in 2015.
