“Although I’m not part of this season, it’s important for me to be clear on my stance when it comes to condemning racism,” the season 12 Bachelorette wrote via Instagram Stories alongside the season 25 contestants’ statement. “We all need to speak up in order to effectively create change. While I recognize that the show is taking steps to be more inclusive and share stories of BIPOC contestants, it’s clearly not enough. I stand behind every word these ladies wrote and will continue to speak up when there are acts of racism. It is important to not only hold ourselves accountable but each other as well.”
