Most dramatic season yet? Bachelorette contestant Dale Moss quickly stole Clare Crawley's heart in a new sneak peek of season 16 — and it may just be love at first sight. "I definitely feel like I just met my husband,” Crawley, 39, admits after meeting the athlete, 32, a clip released on Monday, October 12. "I'm shaking!" The hairstylist was originally announced as the season 16 Bachelorette in March before filming was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic. She kicked off her search for true love at La Quinta Resort in California later that summer. In August, Us Weekly confirmed that she was already falling hard for one of her suitors — and chose to leave the show early! Us later confirmed that Bachelor Nation fan-favorite Tayshia Adams would be joining the series as a second lead after Crawley decided that she had already found The One within two weeks of filming. "[Producers] were shocked by her choice," a source said of Crawley's surprising exit, which left the team "scrambling" and "frantic" to figure out how to move forward. "They had to find a way to continue the show without just starting from scratch." What woman wouldn't, are you kidding me?" she joked during a June episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast. "I will say this. At first, I really didn't. I really did not and it was because, I don't know. I just kind of felt like I want to get to know them and regardless ... You have to see and feel it in person and so regardless of what their life is and what it looks like on their Instagram, it's nice to actually see them in person and I am huge on pheromones, so that's like the end for me." 1. He's a Former NFL Pro

Moss played was signed to play wide receiver on the Green Bay Packers in 2012, and later went on to play with Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears during his three-year career. After injuring his shoulder, his time in the NFL came to an early end. "I never regretted once when I chose to stop playing football," Moss told Forbes in February 2019. "I'm exactly where I’m meant to be and I'm the happiest I've ever been."

2. The Special Olympics Are Close to His Heart

The podcaster is a Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics in honor of his older sister Amber, who woke up unable to walk when she was 5 years old. "She participated in the Special Olympics as a child, which is how I started getting involved," he told Express in 2019. "Now as a Special Olympics global ambassador, my job is to raise awareness for inclusive measures on a global scale. That includes the Healthy Athletes program, which provides health screenings for those with intellectual disabilities, and also the Unified Schools program, which helps Special Olympics athletes find jobs and sustain a meaningful life."

3. He Attended South Dakota State University

The South Dakota native stayed close to home for his higher education and was a star basketball player before transitioning to football. "People said making the leap back to football was something I couldn't do. But I never wanted to think, 'What if?'" he told Express. "So I gave away [an overseas] basketball contract, played one year of college football, worked extremely hard, and was given an opportunity in the NFL."

4. He's a Family Man

Moss grew up with his father coming in and out of his life so felt compelled to step up for his mom and sisters. "My mom's side of the family disowned her for marrying a black man," he told the Odyssey in May 2015. He later made a major sacrifice during his NCAA career, leaving a big tournament game to visit his ailing mother in the hospital as she battled liver failure. "To this day, my sisters and my mother have shaped me into the man I am," Moss later told Forbes in February 2019. "I've always had strong, powerful women in my life and they've helped me in every aspect. They're part of my team, my core and that's definitely what keeps me grounded."

5. He's Hoping to Make it Big in Entertainment Someday

Since his athletic career came to an end, the model has kept an eye on the entertainment industry. "I admire people like Ryan Seacrest who has built a brand that is phenomenal. I really want to connect and immerse myself in that entertainment industry, and build relationships across the top people in fashion, music, sports, TV and all those things," he told BOND OFFICIAL earlier this year. "By the end of this year, I want to do a docuseries highlighting strong empowering stories, with a sports tie, but humanizing these inspiring iconic sports figures. A lot of exciting work!"
