Everything Lamar Odom Has Said About Khloe Kardashian and Family on 'Celebrity Big Brother'

While Lamar Odom is in the Celebrity Big Brother house to try and win $250,000, he seems more focused on using the opportunity to try and reach Khloé Kardashian. The former Los Angeles Lakers champion has been vocal about his ex-wife since before he officially entered the Big Brother house, telling Entertainment Tonight in January that he wanted Kardashian to be on the cast. "Well, I'm hoping I'll bump into Khloé Kardashian," he said. "I don't really dislike or hate anybody, just anybody that doesn't have a good spirit, anybody that's not coming into the house with a good spirit." Instead, Odom was greeted by Cynthia Bailey, Teddi Mellencamp, Todd Bridges, Todrick Hall, Chris Kattan, Carson Kressley, Shanna Moakler, Mirai Nagasu, Miesha “Cupcake” Tate and Chris Kirkpatrick. During the February 2 premiere, the Darkness to Light: A Memoir author wasted no time opening up to Hall about Kardashian. “I miss her so much. I wish I could take that time back,” he said. Odom and Kardashian were married for four years, tying the knot after 30 days of dating in 2009. While they split in 2013, their divorce was put on hold when he was found unconscious in a brothel in 2015. The Good American designer stood by Odom’s side to help him recover but refiled for divorce in 2016. The legal paperwork was finalized that December. [sendtonews type="float" key="9puwDPeVPi-2837199-14453"] While the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum moved on with Tristan Thompson, welcoming daughter True in 2018, Odom has been candid about his desires to reconcile with his former spouse over the years. Most recently, he spoke out after Thompson admitted to fathering a child with Maralee Nicholas during his relationship with the reality star. (Kardashian and Thompson split for good in June 2021.) “Dude is corny for that, but it’s all good,” he told TMZ on January 12. “I haven’t been fortunate enough to reach out to her. She’s gonna be all right. She’s a strong girl.” Ahead of the season 3 premiere, Odom exclusively told Us Weekly about his Big Brother strategy. “Even though I'm out of shape a little bit right now, I think the physical competition's not gonna overwhelm me,” he said. “I think the hardest part of the game for me would be to be disloyal to someone, purposely.” Celebrity Big Brother airs on CBS Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. ET and Mondays at 9 p.m. ET. Losing Sleep

While reflecting on his marriage during the February 14 episode, Odom confessed, "Sometimes it's hard for me to sleep at night thinking about [Khloé]." He later told Bailey that he was going to "try [his] damnedest" to reach out to his ex once back in the real world.

"I would probably just want to take her to dinner. It would be a blessing just to be in her presence," he said in a confessional. "[I'd] say I'm sorry and what a fool I was. But she has her right to never ever see me again, for the things I put her through. Time moves on and people change. I would say I'm a lot more loyal now. Just saying her name brightens up my day. All I can do is wish the best for her."

Making Mistakes

"When I married Khloé, there's just so many things that I did wrong when it came to that relationship," Odom told the cameras on February 14. "If I could take it back, of course I'd take it back. I was never my intention to hurt her. My mind and head weren’t in the right place. I wasn't taking care of myself."

Finding Out About Kylie's Son

During the February 11 episode, Odom and Moakler — the ex-wife of Kourtney Kardashian’s fiancé, Travis Barker — found out that Kylie Jenner gave birth to a baby boy.

“Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have announced the arrival of their new baby boy,” host Julie Chen told the group. “And they have announced his name. Which of these three names is the real name: Rocky, Wolf or Signal?”

Both Odom and Moakler successfully guessed “Wolf” as Jenner and Scott’s baby’s name.

He Hoped Khloe Was in the Cast

Odom revealed during episode 2 that he was “hoping that my ex-wife was in here,” referring to the Celebrity Big Brother house. “I wanted to see her so bad,” he said.

Having Dreams About Khloe

The former basketball star admitted that he was dreaming about Kardashian in the house. “I had some good dreams last night. I dreamt [about] my ex-wife last night,” he said, referring to his ex as “the one and only.”

His Broken Vows

Odom has admitted to cheating on Kardashian several times during their union as he struggled with substance abuse. “When you take a vow under the Lord’s eye, you expect to honor that vow, which I didn’t,” the athlete said on the CBS show. “It kind of haunts me now that I didn’t. Sometimes when I get the opportunity to talk about it, it’s like therapy.”

Wanting to Make Things Right

“I do miss her and her family dearly. Even just to the family, I’m sorry I let them down. They had so much faith in me and gave me my own nickname, Lammy. I would do anything to make it up,” he said. “I was really looking forward to having children with her. … I just want her take her out to eat and tell her sorry.”
