Cameras Are Rolling 

A source tells Us that the cast, which includes Kathryn Dennis, Shep Rose, Cameran Eubanks, Craig Conover, Naomie Olindo, Austen Kroll and Chelsea Meissner, started filming at the beginning of October.

How Many Episodes 

According to a source, Southern Charm season 6 is currently set to feature 10 episodes. “Even though they started filming later, it’s still ending at the same time and will be a short amount of time to film,” per the source.

When Will It Return?

Southern Charm season 6 premieres on Bravo Wednesday, May 15, at 8 p.m. ET.

No Thomas 

Three months after Thomas was accused of sexual assault by two different women, he wrote in a since-deleted tweet that he was not returning for season 6.  (He denied the allegations against him.) In September, the former politician was arrested for assault and battery after a warrant was issued regarding an alleged incident in 2015 with his former nanny. Bravo confirmed he will no longer be part of the cast on September 25.

The Ashley Factor

A source tells Us exclusively that the network approached Ravenel’s on-off girlfriend Ashley Jacobs about appearing on season 6, but she declined. “They weren’t specific about what her role would be since she doesn’t have a lot of people to film with. They wanted Ashley to work her way back into the friend circle, but there was just no guarantee that that would happen,” the source explains. “Of course everyone wants to see Ashley talk to Kathryn. Ashley was in talks with Bravo and the producers, but didn’t feel like she could represent herself well enough with the way it was being presented to her.” 

According to the season 6 trailer, Ashley had a change of heart and decided to film for the Bravo series after her split from Thomas. The nurse went head to head with Cameran and Patricia in the teaser, even getting kicked out of a cast party.

Glamping Trip 

Seemingly following in last season's footsteps, the Southern Charm women appear to still be close. Naomie, Chelsea, Cameran, Kathryn and Danni Baird went glamping together on October 28, per social media posts.

Thomas’ Impact

Kathryn broke down over Thomas’ potential jail time in the trailer. “If he goes in jail, I’ll be a single mom … It’s just overwhelming,” she said through tears. (Thomas will not be on season 6 after he was arrested for an alleged sexual assault.)

New Hookups

In the teaser, Austen alleges that Kathryn hooked up with Whitney Sudler-Smith over the summer. (Kathryn and Whitney dated at the beginning of the series. 

Plus, fans will meet Naomie’s boyfriend, Metul Shah, and Austen’s love, Madison LeCroy, during season 6.
