Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk Turn Golden Globes 2019 Into a Date Night

Date night! Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk made a rare red carpet appearance at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills on Sunday, January 6. The A Star Is Born actor, 44, ditched his character Jackson Maine’s long hair and scraggly beard for a clean-shaven look, complete with an all-white tuxedo and a black bow-tie. Meanwhile, the supermodel, 33, looked glamorous in a formfitting gold Atelier Versace gown while sporting a new bob haircut. The couple were all smiles and held hands as they posed for the cameras. Road to Love

Cooper and the Victoria’s Secret model started dating in April 2015 and went public with their romance the following year at a Paris Fashion Week party. They welcomed daughter Lea De Seine in March 2017.

The Silver Linings Playbook star gushed over his role as a father during an interview with NPR in November, saying “Having a child and having a family of my own — which is a miracle and something I’ve always dreamt of — has opened me up even more, I guess, to the day, and to be present.”

A Star Is Born, which marked Cooper’s directorial debut, scored five Golden Globe nominations: best movie drama, best director (Cooper), best actor in a drama (Cooper), best actress in a drama (Lady Gaga) and best song (“Shallow”), the latter of which won.

The American Sniper actor and Gaga, 32, reunited on stage at Sunday’s ceremony to present the first award of the night: best actor in a TV comedy to The Kominsky Method’s Michael Douglas. Later on, Cooper and the Grammy winner returned to their seats in the audience next to Shayk and Gaga’s fiancé, Christian Carino.
