Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Season 11 of ‘The Bachelorette’: Where Are They Now?

Season 11 of The Bachelorette was one to remember. For the first time ever, there were two Bachelorettes — Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson — and the contestants voted for the woman they wanted to pursue a relationship with on the show. While Kaitlyn ultimately won the honor, the drama didn’t stop there. Nick Viall, who first competed for Andi Dorfman’s heart on season 10 of The Bachelorette, returned midseason and revealed he had been speaking to Kaitlyn before she left to film the show. After he joined the cast, Nick caused a stir again when he and Kaitlyn slept together before the fantasy suite dates. In the end, Kaitlyn picked Shawn Booth over Nick … right before the Wisconsin native was about to get down on one knee. Kaitlyn subsequently accepted a proposal from Shawn. After three years together — and months of social media speculation — Kaitlyn and Shawn announced their split in November 2018 via a joint statement. “After three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways. This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration,” the former couple said at the time. “Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends. We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways.” The “Off the Vine” podcast host later revealed that the twosome “started growing apart” before they pulled the plug on their engagement. “I just wasn’t feeling loved for over the last year,“ Kaitlyn admitted in March 2019. “It really just started weighing on me. I just felt very alone in the relationship and I felt like I had a best friend but I didn’t feel like I had a partner.” After their breakup, Kaitlyn started dating Bachelorette season 14 alum Jason Tartick. The twosome publicly confirmed their romance in January 2019, just two months after her split from Shawn made headlines. Kaitlyn and Jason moved in together in Nashville in May 2019. The reality TV personalities share two Golden Retrievers: Ramen and Pinot. Kaitlyn hosts a biweekly podcast, “Off the Vine,” has a wine brand called Spade and Sparrows and created a line of scrunchies and hair accessories called Dew Edit.

In May 2020, Kaitlyn released her first song, “If I’m Being Honest,” which she later admitted was inspired by her split from Shawn.

“I wrote it in a time when I was in a lot of pain and hurt and that isn’t the case anymore. And now given the times, we can all relate to the lyrics,” she told ET Canada. “I was going through the breakup with Shawn at the time and it was a really, really hard time. It’s kinda about a bunch of things but that was such a hard day to get out of bed and go record a song.”

Kaitlyn, who won season 29 of Dancing With the Stars in 2020, got engaged to Jason in May 2021.

Britt Nilsson

After meeting Britt during night one, contestant Brady Toops left the show to pursue a relationship with her. While the duo dated for several months, they called it quits in July 2015. Shortly after their romance ended, Britt started dating Jeremy Byrne. Us broke the news in September 2017 that the twosome exchanged vows at Green Oak Ranch in Vista, California.

“I just want to go to the grocery store and get a bunch of stuff, come home and make dinner and watch a movie. He’s my best friend,” she gushed to Us at the time. “We’re thinking a year or two just to really have our adventure of just us as a married couple. And then once I start having kids, I’ll just be popping them out left and right.”

Britt announced in December 2019 that she is pregnant with their first child. She gave birth to daughter Noa in June 2020.

“I feel excited and overwhelmed and I don’t know, this is just something that’s always happened to other people and not to me!” she gushed in a YouTube video. “But it’s like, the biggest blessing. I love other people’s kids, I just can’t imagine how much I’m going to love our little baby.”

While Britt is in a good place in 2020, she made headlines in 2017 when she revealed she was struggling with bulimia and alcoholism during her time on The Bachelor.

“For me, having tons of food everywhere … it just became too much,” she explained a YouTube video at the time. “I had pain and anxiety, I felt insecure, I didn’t feel pretty enough, I didn’t know what was going on, I missed my family. … I would take my mic off and try to hide it under towels so they wouldn’t hear me throw up, because then that was going to be on the show and that was going to be a plot line. How horrible would that be, to be the girl who has an eating disorder, who can’t stop eating and throwing up?”

Britt announced in November 2021 that she is pregnant with baby No. 2.

Shawn Booth

Shawn, who is seemingly still single following his split from Kaitlyn, owns a gym in Nashville, Tennessee, and works as a personal trainer and coach. While Nick alleged in November 2019 that Shawn campaigned to get on Bachelor in Paradise season 6, he never publicly confirmed or denied that he wanted to return to The Bachelor franchise.

Shawn gave his first interview in years on the “Austin AF” podcast in November 2021, referring to his relationship with Kaitlyn as a “trauma bond.”

“I think love is a loose term, like, looking back at it,” he said of his ex. “There was, like, a serious connection. I don’t know if it was true, true love.”

Nick Viall

Following a stint on Bachelor in Paradise season 3 — and a brief romance with Jen Saviano — ABC surprised fans by naming Nick the season 21 Bachelor. While he proposed to winner Vanessa Grimaldi during the March 2017 finale, they announced their split five months later.

Nick subsequently retired from Bachelor Nation, but competed on Dancing With the Stars season 24 and made his acting debut on an episode of the ABC sitcom Speechless in 2017. In addition to roles on The Coop, General Hospital and Teachers, Nick created Natural Habits, an essential oils company, in 2018 and launched his “Viall Files” podcast in 2019.

“I assume people have very low expectations when it comes to my acting career so I feel like, nowhere to go but up!” he joked to Us in November 2019.

Nick went public with girlfriend Natalie Joy in January 2021.

Ben Higgins

Kaitlyn’s second runner-up was named the Bachelor for season 20 and got engaged to winner Lauren Bushnell during the March 2016 finale. After more than a year together, Ben and Lauren went their separate ways in May 2017. While she married country singer Chris Lane in October 2019, Ben announced his engagement to girlfriend Jess Clarke in March 2020.

The couple made headlines in April 2020 when they revealed that they were waiting to have sex until they got married.

“It’s just something that we both felt comfortable talking to each other about. I forget the exact scenario that it came up,” Ben told Us at the time. “We didn’t know at that point — who knew where it was going, but like, you know, [I said], ‘Let’s just make this commitment now.’ We had talked about it and agreed to it. Oftentimes that we bring it up. Like, we still have the desires and we still have the emotions and the physical desires to love each other.”

Ben cohosts the “Almost Famous” podcast and launched his Denver-based coffee business, Generous Coffee Co., which donates 100 percent of its earnings to nonprofits, in 2018. Ben also cohosted the Bachelor Live on Stage with former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin before the tour was postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

Ben married Jess in Nashville in November 2021.

Jared Haibon

Jared appeared on seasons 2 and 3 of Bachelor in Paradise and even competed on the Australian version of the spinoff. While he had several near-romances during his time on the beach, Jared surprised fans in May 2018 when he and BiP costar Ashley Iaconetti announced they were dating three years after their rocky relationship began. A month later, Jared proposed in front of ABC cameras.

"Isn't it crazy? Three years ago we met right at this spot on this very beach. I love you so much. You believed in me in time that I haven't believed in myself,” he said before he got down on one knee. “You've always been there for me and so supportive, and loving. I don't ever want another day to go by where I don't kiss you and tell you how beautiful you are, how much you mean to me. You're everything to me. You make me the happiest man alive. I had the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with you. So, Ashley, will you marry me?"

The duo exchanged vows in Rhode Island in August 2019 and reside in Los Angeles. Ashley is expected to give birth to their first child, a baby boy, in February 2022.

Joe Bailey

During his stint on Bachelor in Paradise season 2, Joe came under fire for leading on Juelia Kinney to pursue a relationship with Samantha Steffen, who arrived on the beach later in the season. He subsequently took a step back from the spotlight and owns race horses in Kentucky.

The dentist, who arrived at the mansion in a giant cupcake, had a brief offscreen Bachelor Nation romance with Hannah Godwin. While Hannah went on to compete on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor and later got engaged to Dylan Barbour on season 6 of BiP, Chris found love with Becca Pagani. Us broke the news of their relationship in June 2019.

Chris opened a new dental office in Mar Vista, California, in November 2019.

Ben Zorn

The fitness coach returned for season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise, but quit during week 3. After two years of dating, Ben announced his engagement to dental hygienist Stacy Santilena in August 2019. While the couple were set to wed in 2020, they were forced to postpone amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Putting off our wedding was obviously not ideal. But we are looking for the positives. Our celebration of becoming one is something not only for us, but our friends and family too,” Stacy wrote in May 2020 via Instagram. “So it was an easy decision to wait until we can all be together and celebrate when it’s safe and of course enjoy the dance floor and not fear catching The Rona 😆 Wedding or no wedding we will always be together! But hopefully 2021 we can make this official!”

Instead, on what would have been their wedding day on July 25, 2020, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child. "We decided to make this day special nonetheless," Zorn wrote.

The pair reside in San Jose, California. Us exclusively revealed that Ben and Stacy, who welcomed son Logan in February 2021, wed that July.

Tanner Tolbert

Tanner met wife Jade Roper, who appeared on season 19 of The Bachelor, during season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise. The twosome subsequently tied the knot in front of ABC cameras in January 2016. Later that year, they appeared on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.

Tanner and Jade welcomed their first child, daughter Emerson, in August 2017, and their second child, son Brooks, in July 2019. Less than a year later, Jade announced she is pregnant with baby No. 3.

“This one was not planned,” Tanner admitted in May 2020 via Instagram. “Very much an accident and very much a surprise when Jade told me.”

After living in Kansas City for several years, Jade and Tanner made the move to California in late 2018. Jade gave birth to son Reed in November 2020.

JJ Lane

While JJ didn’t find a love connection during his time on Bachelor in Paradise season 2 in 2015, he started dating his costar Juelia Kinney in 2016. The duo, who went on to appear on Marriage Book Camp: Reality Stars, split after more than a year of dating. JJ started subsequently started seeing now-wife Kayla Hughes. The pair exchanged vows in February 2020 in front of family and friends, including Tanner, Jade, Jared, Ashley, Ben H., and Clint.

JJ, who shares daughter Gemma with his ex-wife, lives in Denver. JJ and Kayla announced in December 2021 that she is pregnant with their first child.

Joshua Albers

After appearing on Bachelor in Paradise season 2, Joshua started dating actress Allison Paganetti. The couple, who wed in October 2018, welcomed son Alden in January 2020. The pair welcomed daughter Mercia in May 2021.

Clint Arlis

While Clint kept a low profile on social media, he worked in project management at Lendlease in Chicago, Illinois, per LinkedIn. 

Clint died at the age of 34 on January 11, 2022. His cause of death has yet to be announced.
