Everyone’s favorite witch is returning, but this time, her magic’s turning dark. Netflix has officially launched The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which takes place a few towns over in Greendale, focusing on the life of Sabrina Spellman.

Stepping in for Melissa Joan Hart is Mad Men alum Kiernan Shipka. Hart, 41, starred on the original sitcom for seven years from 1996 to 2003, but Shipka will lead Netflix’s "dark coming-of-age story.” This Sabrina, just like the original, is “intelligent, compassionate and brave to the point of recklessness,” but now she’s also "all that stands between us and the forces of darkness that threaten our world.” Yikes.

The funny and silly Caroline Rhea will be replaced by Wonder Woman breakout star Lucy Davis. Davis’ Hilda will still be fun and may be causing trouble. She’ll be “concocting love potions for the students at Baxter High,” according to Netflix.

No surprise here: Serious Aunt Zelda still has some pretty strict afternoon activities. While Beth Broderick’s version was extremely smart and always had an important task to do in her free time, Netflix says Miranda Otto’s Zelda will be “serving the Dark Lord as a member of the Church of the Night.”

Netflix has confirmed that Harvey is still a “dreamboat” who is unaware of his surroundings, just like Nate Richert was, but Ross Lynch’s version better smarten up quick — he’s facing "dark forces conspiring to keep him and Sabrina apart.”
