‘NYC Prep’ Stars Camille, Kelli, PC and More: Where Are They Now?

The scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite may have been scripted on Gossip Girl, but Bravo documented the real lives of New York City prep school kids on the short-lived NYC Prep. NYC Prep premiered in June 2009 and aired for eight episodes. The show followed Camille Isobel Hughes, Jessica “Jessie” Leavitt, Kelli Brooke Tomashoff, Sebastian Oppenheim, Taylor DiGiovanni and Peter Cary “PC” Peterson as they balanced partying, fashion shows, charity events, shopping and school. “NYC Prep chronicles the lives of a group of privileged teenagers who are key players in Manhattan’s elite high school scene,” Bravo’s official description of the show reads. “Students who travel in packs – whether it’s on sophisticated vacations or to a townhouse for an exclusive midnight party, their lives intertwine as they network, shop, party, study, date and write college applications. Everyone’s beautiful and everyone’s connected.” PC, who is the grandson of self-made billionaire banker Pete Peterson, declared to New York Magazine in July 2009 that “everything in New York City is about connection.” “It’s who you know and how much money you have,” he said. “It’s really sad. And I am not saying I’m like that. But that’s what New York is: money and power.” [jwplayer zrtstdc5-l3ahXupL] Kelli, for her part, landed a spot on the series thanks to her friendship with Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin’s daughter’s Ally, who she went to school with at the time. “I went into the den with my parents and told them, ‘Um, after school today, Ally took me to audition for a reality show, and we have to sign the contract by tomorrow,’” Kelli recalled to NY Magazine at the time. “I also promised my parents that it wouldn’t interfere with my homework.” While the show only aired for one season, it has a cult following. As a result, Bravo decided to air a marathon on Friday, April 10, to encourage people to stay home amid the coronavirus pandemic. Camille Isobel Hughes

After leaving NYC to attend the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Camille moved to California. She currently works as a senior manager for brand and product development at Arbonne International. She acknowledged on her time on the show in January 2019.

“Oh how time flies...#10yearchallenge #bravo #nycprep,” Camille captioned a cast photo during the viral 10 Year Challenge trend on Instagram.

Jessica “Jessie” Leavitt

Jessie’s fashion dreams came true. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she landed a job as a visual merchandiser for a “luxury brand” in NYC, according to the Sag Harbor Express. Jessie’s brother, Rabbi Noah Leavitt, officiated his sister’s wedding to investment analyst Jason Brown in June 2019.

Kelli Brooke Tomashoff

Like her reality TV days, Kelli’s music career was short-lived, but she did drop a single called “Gave Up On Love” in 2011, which appeared on the Billboard’s Breakout Hot Dance Club chart.

“High school is over for me. I’m ready to sing professionally now,” she declared at the time. “I want people to know that performing is my passion and that it’s real.”

Sebastian Oppenheim

Sebastian returned to Bravo as an intern for Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen during the summer of 2013 before graduating from the College of Charleston in South Carolina in 2015. While he planned to pursue a career in broadcast journalism he, currently works as a real estate agent in NYC. Sebastian married media personality Skyler Bouchard in 2019.

Taylor DiGiovanni

Taylor, who was only 15 years old at the time of filming, left her prestigious public high school after production and eventually graduated from City-As-School, an independent alternative high school that focuses on experiential learning. She has kept a low-profile since NYC Prep wrapped. While she joined Twitter in 2012, she has never posted an update.

Peter Cary “PC” Peterson

PC made headlines in 2018 when Tiffany Trump attended his impromptu Vegas wedding to longtime pal Quentin Esme Brown. 

“Esme and I got married in Las Vegas this weekend,” he wrote on Instagram at the time, according to several reports. “For over ten years we have been discussing this. This was a sober decision that we planned over the weekend. Many of you know that Esme and I have been best friends since we were kids. Was this spur of the moment? Yes. But we have talked about this for ten years.” 

While PC is private on Instagram, Esme rarely posts photos from him and has deleted all evidence of their “wedding.” PC features his nature photographs and portraits on his website.
