'Teen Mom OG' Reunion: Ryan Edwards Blames Maci for His Poor Relationship With Bentley

Ten years later. Part one of the Teen Mom OG reunion provided many updates about what's happening in the lives of Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, Maci Bookout, Taylor McKinney and Ryan Edwards; Cheyenne Floyd and Cory Wharton; and new Teen Mom OG member, Mackezie McKee and husband Josh McKee. "Honestly, my favorite thing to hear or see is when we do have those hard conversations on camera and you see someone tweet you and say, ‘Thank you so much for sharing that because I was dealing with the same thing. I don’t feel so alone,'" Maci, 28, said about the show being on for 10 years. "That’s the biggest." Catelynn, 27, added that for her, this year featured a lot of "growth," especially in her marriage. "He stayed the night at my place a lot," she revealed about their 30-day separation. Tyler, 27, then admitted, "I wanted to be with my wife. I didn't like it." As for where they are today, it's "pretty stable," she said. [jwplayer lklBrVxE-l3ahXupL] Meanwhile, Mackenzie and Josh split in August. However, the Teen Mom OG reunion was filmed a month before. "Watching the show and catching him in lies, seeing how independent he is, I realize I deserve better," the 24-year-old told Us Weekly exclusively. "I have fought for this marriage for many years, and lately, I’ve really opened my eyes to what a horrible person he is." However, during the reunion, Josh, 26, sat with his arm around Mackenzie while she spoke with her parents; during their session, Mackenzie admitted that she always wanted a love like her parents have. Cheyenne and Cory

Last year at the reunion, everyone wanted to know if Cheyenne, 26, and Cory, 28, would be more than friends. However, they are now both in separate relationships.

"I want to get married, I want to have more children," Cheyenne said. "He wasn't ready for that and we had to realize that we're really good friends, we're really good coparents."

Cory then reiterated that they're "just not meant to be right now."

Catelynn and Tyler

After Cate and Tyler gave an update on their relationship, they also opened up about his relationship with his dad, Butch, who relapsed during the season and missed baby Vaeda's birth. Tyler said he wanted "a sober" relationship with his dad. "He's so much fun when he's sober," Catelynn chimed in.

Then, Brandon and Teresa — the couple who adopted Carly in 2009 — joined Catelynn and Tyler on stage. Everyone became emotional when a clip showed the adoption process, and all four couldn't be more thankful for each other.

Mackenzie and Josh

Mackenzie became emotional while her mother gave an update on her spreading cancer and over 40 tumors, all over her body. "They told me 'Chemo's not going to cure you,' but God can," her mom said on the show.

While Mackenzie said she tried to rely on the faith her mother had but was terrified of what could happen next.

Maci and Taylor

When Maci and Taylor, 30, sat down, they revealed they were not going to drop the restraining order they had against Ryan. "This past year of not talking to each other has been good," she said. "I've been able to work through my process of what I think about him."

Taylor then noted she thought they were "fine" at where they were with Ryan. In fact, they all had been in the same place at baseball games. Dr. Drew then pointed out that since Maci wants her son Bentley to have a better relationship with his father, dropping the restraining order may be a way to do that.

Ryan Edwards

"I was tired of being on probation so I just completed my probation in jail," Ryan, 31, shared, adding that his sobriety had been going well since he came home. "Mine started out with pain killers and addiction wasn't even thought of. I was like, 'You can't get addicted to anything.'" 

He then admitted that he once said he would "never use a needle," but once he started using heroine, he "never went back to doing anything else."

Ryan also noted that while he doesn't know if he'll be sober forever, he said he'd "love to be."

As for his relationship with Bentley, he claimed the entire issue was Maci. His wife, Mackenzie Edwards, added that the first step in improving that relationship would be for Maci to lift the restraining order.

Amber Portwood

Portwood will sit down with Dr. Drew during part two of the reunion, airing on MTV Tuesday, September 3, at 8 p.m. ET.
