Cory Wharton’s Girlfriend Taylor Selfridge Will Be Part of ‘Teen Mom OG,’ Talks ‘Cordial’ Relationship With Cheyenne Floyd

Taylor Selfridge’s relationship with Cory Wharton will be documented on the next season, Taylor told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview, revealing the ins and outs of their relationship. Taylor, 24, met Cory, 28, during the first season of Ex on the Beach. The two dated briefly after the show wrapped before splitting. In February 2019, they confirmed on social media they are back together. “Things with Cory are going really great right now,” the Are You the One? season 5 star told Us. “I don’t know what the future holds for us as far as taking our relationship further, but we are in a good place and we’re very happy.” Taylor also gets along with Cheyenne Floyd, the mother of Cory’s daughter, Ryder. “We both understand that there has to be mutual respect for each other and her and I are cordial,” Taylor told told Us of the Challenge vet. (Cheyenne had a brief fling with Cory after Taylor and Cory split the first time.)

Getting Along

Taylor noted that she and Cheyenne have a good relationship, for what it is. “I met Cheyenne over a year ago so it wasn’t new to me to see her,” the model told Us. “Of course it’s somewhat awkward but her and I have talked, and there’s no drama between us.”

Party Time

On Saturday, April 6, Cory and Cheyenne threw Ryder a birthday bash, two days before she turned 2. “Ryder’s party was so much fun. They did a great job setting it all up,” Taylor said. “Cheyenne’s family was really nice to me and made me feel comfortable.”

Spoiled Baby!

Cory recently told Us he was getting Ryder a pink Jeep — and anything else she wanted — for her birthday. “She is a little princess and a diva like her mom. She’s spoiled to death,” he said.

Thankful

Despite backlash about their relationship on social media, Taylor noted that things are very positive.  “I know people want there to be drama in the situation we’re in, but there’s just not any and no one wants there to be problems,” she said. “I’m just enjoying my relationship I’m blessed to have with Cory and Ryder.”

A Reality TV Past

Cory and Taylor connected on night one of Ex on the Beach – and made it work through all the ups and downs. Now, years later, they're in a good place. “Taylor’s the only female I’ve ever brought around Ryder,” Cory revealed on Instagram recently.

It's Not Easy

Cory admitted to Us that the toughest part of coparenting with Cheyenne is dating. “When I was single, I had this thing down,” he told Us in March. “It’s more so being able to bring someone into Ryder’s life. Not only into Ryder’s life, but now I’m bringing that person into Cheyenne’s life.”

Focusing on the Positive

However, he’s very thankful for how great of a sport Taylor is. “I just went on a trip with Cheyenne and her family and you know, Instagram and everyone, they go at it. They’re like ‘Cory’s in Jamaica, he loves Cheyenne, I knew it,’” the former Real World star told Us. “It’s just so over the top. I give Taylor a lot of credit for putting up with it. We’re good.”
