'Teen Mom’ Recap: Jenelle Evans’ Ex Andrew Lewis Comes Back to Haunt Her

Haunted by her past. Even though Jenelle Evans’ son, Jace, has lived most of his life without his father in the picture, Andrew Lewis wanted to get back in touch with him on the Monday, January 21, episode of Teen Mom 2. According to a text that producer Kristen read to Jenelle, Andrew contacted MTV and wanted them to bring Jenelle, Jace, her mother, Barbara Evans, to New York to see him. Later, Barbara FaceTimed Andrew to find out what he wanted — and he started their conversation by talking about how much he wants Jace to get to know him. Why, now, do you want to see Jace after all these years?” Andrew swore that he’d stayed away because he was just a kid, but now that he’s 33, wanted to be responsible. He then insulted Jenelle, saying, “The true low life in a relationship is a woman keeping her child away from a loving father.” In the end, they decided Barbara should go to New York alone to meet up with Andrew to see if he was really in a good place to meet Jace.

Chelsea vs Adam

After Chelsea Houska’s ex Adam Lind was MIA at his visitation with Aubree last episode, it was time for another — but so far, he hadn’t paid the fee required to reinstate their appointment. Aubree wasn’t surprised, telling her grandfather Randy Houska that she didn’t think he was going to “pay the thing.”  

As it turned out, Aubree was right. Adam didn’t end up paying, which meant their next visit was canceled, too. “At least when I told her it was canceled, it didn’t seem to bother her or anything,” Chelsea said when she was telling her mom the story later. “I’m not gonna get my hopes up.”

Kailyn and Lauren's Battle Continues

Even though Kailyn Lowry hadn’t gotten off to the best start with Javi Marroquin’s girlfriend, Lauren Comeau, that didn’t stop Isaac and Lincoln from wanting to go to Javi’s to play with them. However, Lauren was very quick to point out to Javi that there was still still tension between her and Kail.

“I remember last summer, Kail didn’t want me around Isaac, she was protective over him. But she very quickly let us have him when I was here,” Lauren said. “We had a soccer game this past Saturday; we still didn’t talk, but that’s progress. I’ve said over and over again that it’s all completely up to her and what she feels comfortable with and at whatever pace she wants to go. But I’m here. I’m here for good. I think we’ll be able to handle whatever comes our way.”

Stella's Birthday

Ahead of Stella’s first birthday, Briana DeJesus’ made a big move: She invited Stella’s dad, Luis, to come for the party; he hadn’t seen his daughter since he moved to New York. Once Briana finally got ahold of him, he told her he wanted to come but didn’t have the money to fly out, so she paid for his plane ticket. Later, she found out that he planned to DJ at a club the night before Stella’s party, even though he was supposed to be at Briana’s helping set things up.

“When he comes tomorrow, he’s gonna act like everything is all gravy, all smiles and happiness. No,” Briana said during the episode. However, when he did attend Stella’s party the next day, she decided to let it go.

“I just don’t think it’s even worth me even mentioning it or talking about it; I’m not gonna get worked up because it already happened,” Briana said.
