In a Super Bowl LV commercial for T-Mobile in February 2021, Brady joked that he only switched from the Patriots to the Buccaneers because he misunderstood Gronk’s advice during a spotty phone call. The ad ended with the University of Alabama alum deciding to come out of retirement to join the six-time Super Bowl champ. “Where are my football pants?” he shouted to his mom.
