Everything to Know About the 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 10 Reunion Amid Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval's Affair Scandal

A different kind of reunion. The Vanderpump Rules cast is preparing to address all their drama — both onscreen and off — after filming season 10. Before the hit Bravo series returned with new episodes in February 2023, the topic on everyone's mind was Tom Schwartz and Raquel Leviss' relationship. Amid his divorce from Katie Maloney, Us Weekly confirmed in August 2022 that Schwartz and Raquel hooked up at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies' nuptials. (The Minnesota native and Katie finalized their divorce two months later.) However, cast and fans alike were in for a shakeup when news broke in March 2023 that Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix had split after nearly a decade of dating because he cheated with Raquel. "The cameras haven't stopped rolling since Wednesday night. It's not an understatement to say this will be the most explosive season of Vanderpump Rules ever," a source exclusively told Us following the TomTom co-owner and Ariana's breakup. Bravo later confirmed that Kristen Doute would return to film scenes with Ariana after being fired in 2020 for past racist behavior. The He's Making You Crazy author was spotted arriving at her former costar's house in March 2023 as the drama unfolded. (Kristen dated Sandoval from 2007 to 2013 before he moved on with the Florida native.) In response to the cheating drama, Sandoval issued a public apology to his now-ex-girlfriend after only addressing the backlash his Los Angeles business received when he initially broke his silence. Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana," the Missouri native wrote via Instagram in March 2023. "I made mistakes, I was selfish and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly." He added: "I can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us. I feel really horrible about that. My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends." Raquel, for her part, also reflected on the drama in her own statement. "I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana," she wrote via Instagram. In her lengthy message, Raquel noted that she was planning to speak to "a counselor" about her issues. “I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships," she added. "I am taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices.” Although Ariana didn't publicly address the controversy right away, Lisa Vanderpump offered an update on how she was doing during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in March 2023. "I have seen Ariana and I have [filmed] with her. It's an integral part of the story now. I would say the word I would use [to describe her] is devastated," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum said before filming the reunion. After the taping on March 23, 2023, an insider told Us that Lala Kent and James Kennedy “went crazy” on Raquel and Sandoval at the reunion. “The cast was out of control,” the source said. “James took on Tom Sandoval while Lala took on Raquel Leviss and they both just lit them on fire and burned them alive with their shade. When Is the 'Vanderpump Rules' Reunion?

The season 10 reunion filmed on March 23. An air date has not yet been announced.

Weeks later, Andy confirmed he filmed one-on-one interviews with Ariana, Sandoval and Raquel.

“I did separate one-on-ones with Tom, Ariana and Raquel so that I could get all of their stories just in conversation with me,” the host said on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy on April 3, explaining that he re-asked “a lot of the stuff in front of the group” too. “I also had things — I had my own concerns. I had my own things that I wanted to confront them about. Things I had noticed so I got to do that. So that's how we started and then we brought them to the filming group. … If you are looking to hear their story, you will. If you are looking for them to be confronted to their faces about what they've done — in what I would say [in] an aggressive manner, confrontational manner — you will get it.”

He then hinted the footage might air on NBC’s streaming service, Peacock.

“I think that Peacock is going to release extended versions,” he said. “So you better subscribe to Peacock and it's pretty inexpensive to subscribe to Peacock because I think you're going to get extras on Peacock. And let me tell you, there is a lot of reckoning to get. … I did these one-on-ones, we shot a long time with the group. It was a real reckoning.”

Were Scheana and Raquel Able to Attend?

One day before the taping, Raquel confirmed she would appear in person. Scheana's lawyer revealed the morning of that she will be there IRL too.

“Scheana will be present at today’s filming in person. Scheana intends to follow the law, but she wants to be a part of the reunion,” Scheana’s lawyer, Neama Rahmani, told Us Weekly on Thursday. “If Rachel attends, Scheana and Vanderpump Rules will make sure that Scheana remains 100 yards away to comply with the restraining order. There is no real way for the temporary restraining order to be dropped, so it will remain in effect until the permanent hearing on March 29 and then it will just lapse if Rachel doesn’t pursue it. And if Rachel does pursue it, Scheana intends to call witnesses and present evidence to disprove her false accusations.”

Variety subsequently reported that Scheana and Raquel will take turns on the couch with the cast. When one is on stage, the other star will watch remotely backstage (and likely still have a camera on them).

Who’s Coming? 

Lisa, Katie, Sandoval, Scheana, Ariana, Schwartz, James Kennedy, Raquel and Lala Kent all participated.

However, questions arose about Raquel and Scheana's involvement after the beauty pageant contestant filed a temporary restraining order against her costar in March 2023. The legal action came after rumors that the "Good As Gold" singer got physical with Raquel after learning about the affair — which she has since denied.

The Seating Chart

Bravo shared two seating charts after Us confirmed that Scheana and Raquel will need to be on separate segments.

Lala, James, Katie and Ariana are on one side of Andy with the bartender closest to the host. On the other side, Lisa will be next to Sandoval. When Raquel is on stage, she’ll be in between Sandoval and Schwartz. When Scheana is part of the group, she’ll join at the end of the Lisa and Toms.

Katie and Scheana's Feud

During a March 2023 episode of her "Scheananigans" podcast, Scheana said she wanted an apology from Katie.

“The reunion should be very interesting because I think Katie's expecting an apology from me, but I'm also expecting an apology from her,” the California native said, referring to her feud with Katie over Schwartz's hookup with Raquel.

How Will Scandoval Favor Into the Drama?

Amid news of Raquel and Sandoval's affair, Bravo went back into production on new footage to include at the end of season 10. The reunion will be filmed after most cast members publicly showed their support for Ariana — and slammed Sandoval and Raquel's relationship.

How Intense Did It Get?

Lala said that she was "still recovering" from the reunion during a March 28 SiriusXM appearance. 

“I completely blacked out. I was, like, enraged," she said, adding that she told producers she felt "like I went a little too crazy" after filming. 

Jax Taylor, for his part, told Extra on March 27 that he "heard [the reunion] was crazy." He continued: "[I] heard it was everything that everyone thought it was going to be. There was security there. There was almost brawls."

Brittany Cartwright added that she was "excited" to see Lala's "comebacks and quick wit" when the reunion airs. "She cracks me up. I just can't wait to see it," she said.

Who Got Physical at the ‘Pump Rules’ Season 10 Reunion?

Scheana denied that it was Schwartz and Sandoval who got physical — but confirmed something nearly went down.

“I can’t confirm who it was but I can tell you it was not Schwartz and Sandoval. I know Jax put out there that it was the Toms who got physical. It was not both of the Toms, but you will have to stay tuned for the reunion to see all of that,” she said via Amazon Live in March. “It was literally, like, the first five minutes of the reunion. People are already out of their seat coming at each other. Andy had to step in, production had to step in, it was a lot right off the bat I was not ready for that.”

How Did Ariana Address Sandoval and Raquel?

During an appearance on WWHL, Schwartz hinted at Ariana's response to the affair on screen.

"I have never seen such a ruthless denunciation of two human beings in my life," he said, referring to Ariana confronting Sandoval and Raquel at the reunion. "Ariana had a fire in her. I mean, she eviscerated those two and I've never seen anything like that. I didn't know she had it in her."
