Everyone is trying to make a quick buck off the latest royal baby! Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s first child, a son, was born on Monday, May 6, in London, and since his arrival, several companies have released special-edition products as a fun way to honor the newest royal and his overjoyed (albeit sleepy) parents.
More specifically, many food and drink brands have come up with sweet and clever ways to honor the tiny tot. For example, Dairy Queen announced on Twitter just hours after the royal baby was born that it would be renaming its popular Mini Royal Blizzard in his honor. The iconic dessert will now be called the Royal Baby Blizzard for the duration of May.
Sprinkles Cupcakes also got in on the action, taking to multiple social media platforms to announce the debut of its limited-edition cupcake. According to an Instagram post from the Los Angeles-based chain that’s beloved by an array of celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Lili Reinhart, the celebratory confection features a white icing topping and a blue vanilla buttercream center.
Since some royals fans might prefer to raise a glass to the newborn, Windsor & Eton Brewery, a beverage company based in Windsor, England, released a special beer called the Windsor Baby Beer just days before Meghan and Harry’s bundle of joy arrived.
