See Every Recipe Disney Parks Has Shared Amid the Coronavirus Shutdown

Keeping the magic alive … in your kitchen! As most Disney parks and attractions around the globe remain closed in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the company has steadily been sharing recipes for various meals and snacks typically sold at its properties. With this intel, fans of its six parks all over the world — Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Disneyland Resort in California, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Shanghai Disney — can bring a bit of Disney into their own homes. The first recipe to make the rounds, which was published on the Disney Parks blog in early April, was for the brand’s beloved churro bites. These sweet treats are served at all six Disney locales worldwide and have famous fans including Kourtney Kardashian and Kim Kardashian. In fact, upon realizing that the churro bites recipe was online, the KKW Beauty founder whipped up a batch of the treats herself and shared a snapshot of the finished product on her Instagram Stories. “Thank you @disneyland for the recipe,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians cast member gushed on April 10. This recipe is inspired by the delicious snack that can be found at all of our parks across the globe.” Since the churro post, Disney has shared recipes for additional sweet treats and dishes such as Mickey Mouse-shaped beignets, grilled cheese and more. The recipes continue to roll in even as some Disney parks have reopened or announced plans to resume operations. Mac and Cheese

The Taste of Epcot International Food & Wine Festival took place at Disney World in August 2020, but given the pandemic, the Disney Parks blog shared a mac and cheese recipe for those looking to celebrate at home. The dish, which is made with a mix of white and yellow cheddar cheeses as well as Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese, is sold at the World ShowPlace Pavilion. See the recipe here.

White Chocolate Budino

This recipe, which came from the vault, was shared by the Disney Parks blog in August 2020. The decadent dessert was served at Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas in Orlando and will appear in Disney's newest cookbook, Delicious Disney: The Fresh Edition. The S’mores Gelato Shake

In honor of National S’mores Day on August 10, the Disney Parks blog shared its recipe for a S’mores Gelato Shake. This item has been served at Disney World's at D-Luxe Burger restaurant within Disney Springs, though it isn't currently on the menu. Fried Pickles

The Disney Parks blog shared the recipe for this savory snack in July 2020. Typically on the menu at the Carnation Café in Disneyland, these fried bites are coated with a cheesy breadcrumb topping and served alongside a zesty dipping sauce made with Sriracha, ranch dressing, lime juice and more. Walt's Chili

As this recipe's name implies, it was a favorite of Disney founder Walt Disney, who wasn't actually a fan of foods that were "highly seasoned or spicy," according to the Disney Parks blog. Traditionally served at the Carnation Café in Disneyland, this chili is a bit more flavorful than what Walt was used to thanks to ingredients like ground cumin and cayenne pepper. Apple Pie

The Disney Parks blog shared this all-American dessert in July 2020 as 4th of July treat. The pie is typically served at the Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and is made with tart Granny Smith apples. It also boasts a "cake-like top crust that is simply delicious." The recipe for this snack, which is served at the Lamplight Lounge at Disney California Adventure park, was shared on the Disney Parks blog in May 2020. The Kitchen Sink Sundae

This sweet treat is typically on the menu at the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts and as its name implies, it's over the top. Not only does this decadent dish require an entire can of whipped cream, but it's also made with eight scoops of ice cream, two cupcakes, a sugary fudge and butterscotch topping and much more. Disney’s official fan club shared the recipe for Mickey Mouse pretzels and cheese dip in May 2020 and the duo, which is served at the company’s parks around the world, is surprisingly easy to make. ‘Grey Stuff’ From ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Though it doesn’t sound very appetizing, this food, which is mentioned in the tune “Be Our Guest,” is actually a mixture of cookies and cream sandwich cookies, vanilla pudding, and whipped cream all served on top of a scalloped cookie. Mickey Mouse-Shaped Beignets

Disney’s take on the popular New Orleans treat, which is basically fried dough topped with powdered sugar, is shaped like Mickey Mouse. Per the Disney Parks blog, “Now, you can cook up your favorite memories from New Orleans Square and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter from the comfort of your own kitchen. Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Banana French Toast

This decadent brunch dish is described by the Disney Parks blog as “a perfectly sweet way to start your morning.” The meal, which is one of the many dishes that rotate seasonally on the menu at Disney’s PCH Grill located inside the Paradise Pier Hotel in California, is prepared like a casserole. That means you can likely feed the whole family in one sitting. Grilled Cheese Sandwich

“This yummy recipe comes from Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios,” declared the Disney Parks blog. “While we can’t visit Andy’s backyard right now, this recipe is just one more great way to create #DisneyMagicMoments in your own backyard (or kitchen).” The meal, which takes about 15 minutes to make, includes a rich cream cheese spread, a savory garlic spread and three different types of cheese. Dole Whip

As far as Disney recipes go, this is one of the tastiest options around and it’s also incredibly easy to make, which is likely why Disney shared it via the Disneyland app in April. The refreshing treat contains vanilla ice cream, pineapple juice and frozen pineapple, which is blended together until it’s smooth. If you want to replicate the Disney version exactly, just be sure to use plant-based ice cream, as the Dole whip available at the company’s parks is vegan and dairy-free.
