And I constantly brag that I paid under 20 bucks for something that looks and feels high-quality.”

“FILA sneakers are the hottest shoe of 2019, but when it comes to summer, I’m looking for ‘cool’ rather than ‘hot.’ That’s why I have my eye on the FILA Women’s Drifter Slide Sandal. It’s just as trendy and comfortable as the famous FILA sneaker everyone knows and loves, but more ideal for trips to the beach, hanging out by the pool or for when I need to run outside quickly. While I noticed the black version first, the pink version truly captured my heart, and I’m imagining wearing a pair right now with a red one-piece swimsuit and blue denim shorts. Hope I remembered to bring sunscreen!”

“I walk everywhere, so finding a pair of sandals that not only withstand the pavement but also don’t give me blisters is tantamount. When I spotted these Steve Madden slides, I did something so unlike me — I bought them in two colors! I have them in both black and white and get a ton of wear out of both. They have a leather upper, so they contoured to my foot really quickly. The best part, though? They don’t make that weird slapping noise against your heel when you walk!”

“I grew up in Connecticut and attended college in New Hampshire, so I was basically born in a pair of Birkenstock. So, even though I’m constantly sacrificing comfort for chicness in heels, even I know some exceptions can be made. This Arizona Slide is my absolute favorite. The rubber-like material can survive any forecast, weather or event and the strap can be adjusted on the spot. As if this wasn’t good enough as is, it also comes in a black shade that’s very on-brand and matches my soul.”
