The Flexible Hairspray That Held Kristin Cavallari’s Crazy Cool Bubble Pony in Place

Hairspray is sometimes a necessity, but wow, do we hate using it. It mattifies our hair, weighs it down and basically turns it to stone. Don’t even get Us started on the smell. But if we want to get a little creative with our hairstyle, we need it! Are all hairsprays truly the same, or is there hope out there?

The R+Co Vicious Strong Hold Flexible Hairspray makes all of our hoping and wishing worth it. It claims to provide a strong yet flexible hold that doesn’t leave our hair looking or feeling like a rigid helmet, and we recently saw it in action on Paradise Hotel when host Kristin Cavallari rocked an insanely cool up-do!

Makeup artist and hairstylist Emma Willis recently revealed the secrets to Cavallari’s avante garde yet incredibly elegant bubble ponytail on Instagram. A lot of work went into this intricate style, so finishing up with a strong-hold hairspray was of utmost importance. That’s where Vicious came in!

Shoppers love how this hairspray doesn’t leave locks “sticky or crunchy,” but instead touchable. One said they’re so appreciative of “being able to run [their] hands through [their] hair” without destroying their style. Another “very impressed” reviewer said they “noticed a dramatic change” when comparing their usual styling results, noting how their hair was “full of movement but still held together.” The best bonus of all? People are loving the scent!

This hairspray boasts five heavy-hitting key ingredients. The holding complex is what provides us that “enduring hold” we need, while Styling Polymer, for example, may strengthen cuticles and provide heat styling protection. Amp copolymer also claims to provide thermal protection! We also have pro-vitamin B5, which is meant to thicken and volumize hair, and an anti-static agent to provide shine and control frizz and flyaways for a flawless finish!

This Vicious hairspray claims to hold hair without any flaking or dryness. We may be able to brush our hair without seeing any cracks in our style, so our hair always looks and feels natural and soft. With other hair products, once they’re in, they’re in, and we’re going to need a lot of shampoo to get them out, but this R+Co spray allows us to restyle throughout the night if we want to!

To use this hairspray, we just need to shake it up and spray it all over our hair, being generous. We can also take in the Dark Waves fragrance, which is a lovely blend of romantic cardamom, pineapple, tangerine, lavender and bamboo. Can we get a perfume version, too? Oh wait, it already exists!

This hairspray is vegan, paraben-free, sulfate-free and paraben-free. It also comes in a super sleek spray bottle that has Us calling up a nail salon to schedule a manicure as soon as possible. We’re feeling so inspired by that red on the nails of the pictured hands! The inspiration this hairspray brings is apparently endless, and we can’t wait to start coming up with new styles while using it!
