The BCBGeneration Crossover Midi Dress is meant to be that go-to look for absolutely any occasion, both fancy and casual. It’s also the softest material imaginable. The curve-hugging dress is made of plush jersey, with a kiss of spandex to make it stretchy enough to wear to a barbecue in the summertime and beyond. It’s also totally opaque, so no need to worry about wearing a slip underneath.
While on the subject of slips, there’s another thing the dress won’t require — shapewear! That’s right: This BCBGeneration number is designed to totally glide over the belly. Want to wear this to a dinner date? No need to worry about dealing with Spanx rolling down around the tummy mid-meal. The dress is super forgiving, though many reviewers suggest that the dress does contour the curves to their best advantage.
That’s not the only thing reviewers adore about the dress. Many said that it’s easy to wear, plus the fabric has a good weight to it. One even exclaimed that if you’re curvy, “this dress will hug you in all the right places!” Another especially loved the fit for petite girls and wrote that “short girls can feel tall and fabulous in this mididress!”
