Slip-ons are the best sneaker for summer, hands down. They can often be worn with or without socks, they’re easy and quick and it’s almost unreal how cute they look with casual dresses. Sadly, every slip-on is not the same. We need a “super” slip-on, and only one brand fits the bill: Superga!
The Superga 2210 COTW Slip-On Sneaker is a slip-on version of Duchess Kate’s favorite sneaker. When we picture the ladies of the royal family in our head, what do we usually imagine their footwear to be? Heels, right? Sure, at fancy events and appearances. But Duchess Kate can keep it casual too with her Superga Cotu sneakers. We fell for the Cotus fast, so when we saw this slip-on version was 40% off, we freaked out!

These sneakers have over 300 reviews, and shoppers are saying their “feet literally ache without them” because they are just that comfortable. One said they could even walk “miles” in their pair of COTW sneakers without any pain. Oh, to walk a mile in these shoes.

These shoes are “sleek and chic” in every way. They have an unlined cotton canvas upper in a medium Grey Sage shade. Because this upper is made of cotton, it should mold to our foot for a glove-like fit in no time!
The footbed of this slip-on sneaker is cushioned and soft, leaving the sturdy durability to the rubber outsole. The outsole is made to provide traction so even when we break the lifeguards’ rule of not running by the pool, we’ll still manage to stay on our feet! But, seriously, don’t run by the pool.

As for accents, these slip-ons feature a cut-off criss-cross design with topstitching on the upper. We’ll also find a small white logo tag on the side, and another logo at the back of the heel on the white wraparound rubber. This way, everyone will know that our royal taste isn’t just the result of a faraway dream — we’re making it happen for real.
Know what else we love about these shoes? It’s not something we can see just by looking at them. It’s the fact that they’re machine washable! Summer shoes tend to collect mud and spilled drink stains at the speed of light, so the fact that we don’t need to scrub at them with a toothbrush and dish soap feels heaven-sent!
Slip-ons are fantastic because they manage to carry both the vibe of a sneaker and a classier flat at once. As we said, they’re a top choice for pairing with dresses, but they also look adorable with anything from jeans, to linen shorts to culottes! They’re easy, but not in a lazy way. They help us look put-together even when we’re just having a leggings and baggy tee day!
