The 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards hosted by Tiffany Haddish may not air until Monday, June 18, at 9 p.m. ET, but the stars were out in force over the weekend to tape the annual fete. Nominee Mandy Moore arrived in a sexy metallic Alberta Ferretti minidress and Tyler Ellis clutch that she complemented with an equally sultry silver smokey eye, and we’ve got the scoop on how to recreate the fierceness.
The This Is Us star’s longtime makeup artist Jenn Streicher dreamed up the date night-inspired look using all Juice Beauty products. To impart a moisturizing glow and prep the skin for makeup, the pro first applied the brand’s Phyto-Pigments Illuminating Primer. To create a #flawless base, Streicher used the new Phyto-Pigments Youth Cream Compact Foundation in Sand all over her face and then spot treated with the Phyto-Pigments Perfecting Concealer. A dusting of the Phyto-Pigments Flawless Finishing Powder, meanwhile, kept it all in place.
When it came to creating that pretty flush on the actress’ cheeks, Jenn used both blush and highlighter. The Flash Luminizer in Marigold helped to add radiance to the cheekbones and under eyes, while the Phyto-Pigments Last Looks Cream Blush in Flush gave a hint of natural color to the apples of the cheeks.
By creating a velvety nude pout with the Phyto-Pigments Luminous Lip Crayon in Venice, Streicher ensured that her glam eye look took centerstage. Proving that sometimes simpler is better, the makeup artist piled on loads of mascara for a voluminously fluttery effect, before layering on and winging out the Phyto-Pigments Precision Eye Pencil along the top and bottom lash line to create a smoked out look that popped against Mandy’s crystal-embellished mini.
With her mile-long gams fully on display, Streicher completed the head-to-toe look by adding a squirt of the illuminating primer to a body lotion and applying it to the legs to add a light-catching glimmer that could also be added to the arms, shoulders and décolleté depending on the silhouette. Consider that a #ProTip.
