Bella sposa!
On Sept. 29, Anne Hathaway married longtime love Adam Shulman in Big Sur, Calif. — but her dress was all about Old World, Italian glamour!
The Les Miserables actress, 29, donned a gown custom-made by the legendary Valentino Garavani; the romantic, elegant piece was an ivory silk point d’espirit tulle dress with a hand-painted train.
It was a labor of love for Valentino, 80. “Anne is like a daughter to him,” a Valentino source tells Us Weekly. “It was a personal project.”
Wearing the show-stopping gown, Hathaway exchanged vows with jewelry designer Shulman, 31, in a sunset ceremony on a cliff in an open-side tent, situated next to a barn surrounded by tall pine trees.
“They seemed incredibly happy and in love,” an eyewitness told Us. “They were posing for pictures after the wedding and seemed giddy and on an adrenaline high. At one point, they had a moment to themselves and they just looked at each other for a long time and then kissed.”
