Ooh la la! On the heels of her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Week debut, Bella Hadid sat down with — and stripped down for — Paper magazine, going topless for more than one of the Winter 2016 issue’s NSFW (but stunning) photos.
While the cover shoot features Hadid, 20, in a close-up with platinum hair and punk makeup, the inside shows off her dangerous sense of style. She models a sheer Balmain skirt (worn as a dress), a see-through, corset-style dress by Marc Jacobs and an Acne Studios blazer sans top, all of which are styled to showcase her chest.
Of course, this is just a striptease snapped behind the scenes. The week before the magazine’s release, Hadid walked one of the world’s most famous runways — the #VSFS — in little more than lace lingerie. “I was really surprised, but definitely excited,” Hadid told Paper, revealing that she also auditioned in 2015. “I tried last year [to be cast in] the show … [But] I think everything happens for a reason.”
And as for the criticism that she lost too much weight for the show? The Dior Makeup ambassador, who is battling Lyme disease like her mom, Yolanda Hadid, had only this to say: “I feel the healthiest I’ve been in a long time. I feel fit.”
Bella also revealed what’s up next for her — and it goes way beyond modeling. “I think [acting] would be really fun, because it’s exciting to be in front of the camera on film instead of just pictures,” she said. “I have so many goals, [but] most of the time I like to keep them to myself, because I’m really superstitious.”
