If Calvin Harris aimed to make his fans swoon with his new Emporio Armani campaign, well, mission accomplished! The world-renowned DJ and music producer, 31, was tapped by the Italian fashion house to model the Spring/Summer 2015 line of underwear in new advertising images, debuted to the world on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
The black-and-white shots taken by photographer Boo George, show the “Pray to God” producer showing off his rock-hard pecs, chiseled abs, and, ahem, well-endowed package in several of the brand’s snug-fitting briefs.
Back in December 2014, Mr. Armani gushed over his new underwear model to Women’s Wear Daily. “Calvin Harris is a truly cosmopolitan, dynamic young man who is capable of attracting the masses with his music and energy,” Armani said. “He isn’t a model by nature, and this creates a more sincere and engaging bond with the public.”
Harris, in turn, expressed his excitement to be working with the legendary fashion designer. “It’s incredible to be working with Mr. Armani and his team at Emporio Armani,” Harris told WWD. “I feel an affinity to the brand ethos and have been a long-time admirer of their designs.”
