To die for! Halle Berry really got into the Halloween spirit on October 28, when she shared her costume on Instagram. The Kidnap actress, 50, slayed in a bone-baring skeleton costume along with some seriously deadly makeup. Nahla, 8, dressed just like mom in a mini version of the same outfit.
“Our costumes are really killin’ it this year, don’t you think? 💀☠️,” Berry captioned an Instagram that gathered more than 43,800 likes.
Even though her onesie was spooky, Berry added a dose of glam with a long, curly and voluminous red wig styled by celebrity stylist Castillo. And to create a skull-like effect, makeup artist Lottie S covered Berry’s face with white and black paint.
Berry’s post was one of many to commemorate the scariest day of the year. On October 26, she asked her followers what they’d be dressing up as. “Please someone say BAPS,” she captioned the Instagram, referring to her 1997 movie character, Nisi, who wore a bright blonde wig and a gold tooth.
And on October 30, she shared a photo of an intricate spiderweb. “👀 what just spun up in our backyard last night… just in time. 🕸,” she wrote.
Berry, who’s also the mom of Maceo, 3, seems like she’s embracing her 50th year with gusto. The single lady, who split from husband Olivier Martinez in 2015, says that she’s in a great place. “I just feel happy, you know? I’ve arrived at a really good place once again; that’s always good news,” she told Extra in an October 2016 interview. “Down time, dark times, don’t last forever. The sun is out again and it feels great.”
