It’s official — toddlers have no interest in next season’s fashions!
David Beckham rounded up his adorable brood to attend his wife Victoria Beckham‘s Fall/Winter 2015 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week on Sunday, Feb. 15. The gang, including sons Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 9, and daughter Harper, 3, all sat next to Vogue magazine editor Anna Wintour in the front row.
While most of the family looked eager to see the British fashion designer’s offerings for next winter, little Harper was less than enthused with all the ready-to-wear hoopla.
The baby of the family, who sat in her father’s lap, sported a black dress with a Peter Pan collar. To her side was Wintour, sporting her usual stylish bob and a bright green sweater.
Harper Beckham’s front-row appearance follows 20-month-old North West’s full-on tantrum at her father Kanye West‘s Adidas show on Feb. 12, and again at the Alexander Wang show on Valentine’s Day. A source claimed the second meltdown occurred when North was teased with a photographer’s toy monkey on the other end of the runway.
Photographer Kevin Tachman tells Us Weekly: “I brought the monkey to have fun with the models as I primarily shoot backstage, and it’s always a good way to make the girls smile,” he said.
“Then I realized as word came that they were coming to sit front row that she may become fixated with it. I took the front row pics and all was fine, but ended up shooting the show right across from them; so of course she wanted the toy.”
The photographer took the Monkey Shutter Hugger toy off his camera so North wouldn’t be distracted, and then gave her the animal backstage. “Kim was sweet and gracious when I gave her the monkey and made sure to get it back to me before she left,” he says.
