With liberty and denim for all! After months of teasing Us, Khloé Kardashian finally revealed her new jeans label, Good American, on Wednesday, September 21.
“I’m so excited to announce my new denim brand @goodamerican!!! This has been such an incredible journey and I feel so blessed to be able to bring this line to women everywhere of ALL shapes and sizes,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 32, wrote in a September 21, Instagram. “I can’t wait to show you … Let's love our curves ladies!!!”
Good American jeans, available at Nordstrom and on GoodAmerican.com beginning October 18, will offer bottoms in sizes 0 to 24, as well as in three silhouettes: Good Legs (skinny), Good Cuts (boyfriend) and Good Waist (high-waisted) according to a WWD report.
Kardashian, who’s currently dating NBA player Tristan Thompson, first hinted at the news of her project in a Wednesday, May 4, call for models. "I'm looking for beautiful, powerful women to star with me in a campaign for my new denim brand! Details at theGAproject.com," she captioned a selfie.
The site, which now redirects to GoodAmerican.com, gave insight on the powerful message behind the brand. "There's a new definition of sexy. The shape we lust for has curves, not the straight body of the fashion establishment," a statement read. "Some call it a new silhouette, we just think of it as embracing the body you were given."
By the looks of her Snapchat and Instagram, the Strong Looks Better Naked author has certainly done just that. In a few social media posts on Wednesday, June 1, she partied on the set of a shoot for her denim line wearing a gray off-the-shoulder crop top and a pair of skintight, light-wash bottoms, presumably by Good American.
While details are under wraps (for now!), Kardashian is encouraging her #goodsquad to sign up for updates on GoodAmerican.com. Tell Stylish: Will you buy a pair of Kardashian’s jeans?
