The Hart of Dixie actress, 35, teamed up with eBay for Charity on this Giving Tuesday to offer shoppers the chance to win a trip to L.A. to have a one-on-one styling session with her. "I have always made it a point to try and give back, especially during the holidays, and I was thrilled that eBay approached me," Bilson tells Stylish.
All you have to do is purchase anything from eBay for Charity's Giving Tuesday Charity shop to be entered to win the "Weekend in L.A." prize, which also includes round-trip air travel, hotel and dinner. There are fashions plucked directly from Alicia Keys' closet, a hand-knit scarf from Broad City's Ilana Glazer and a private training session with Tracey Anderson. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the offerings go directly to support those in need, including AFGHAN HANDS, which is a favorite of Bilson's.
If you're the lucky winner for a styling sesh with Bilson, don't be surprised if she gravitates toward more casual clothing. “I just like to be comfortable these days, but it doesn’t mean you can’t feel good about what you’re wearing,” she tells Stylish. "It's called toddler style— comfortable and non-revealing."
Bilson's actual toddler, Briar, 2, has her own sense of style too. "She’s going through a phase where she only wants to wear shorts, or if she has pants on she rolls them up to her knees,” Bilson says. "I don’t know what that’s about, but she’s in a short phase, which is gonna be a problem over the holidays when we’re in the snow, but we’ll work it out.”
