No such thing as too much shine! For nearly 15 years, Victoria’s Secret has partnered with Swarovski to add all kinds of shimmer to its fashion show creations, and Stylish has a sneak peek at the most dazzling crystal-studded ensemble in the lineup.
Feast your eyes on Angel Josephine Skriver‘s eye-popping ensemble, modeled here during a fitting in NYC on Tuesday, November 1. The look, which features 450,000 crystals total, not only boasts stone-embellished lingerie but a stunning crop top with 3,000 strands of Swarovski crystal fringe. (Fun facts: Each strand takes about 12 minutes to thread, and each sleeve weighs eight to 10 pounds.)
And because that’s clearly not enough, all of that is accessorized with a pair of sheer over-the-knee Brian Atwood boots, enhanced with yet another 1,630 crystals. (Excuse Us while we swoon.)
“This year marks the fourteenth anniversary of Swarovski’s partnership with Victoria’s Secret, and we could not be more excited to continue our collaboration,” Alexander Wellhoefer, Swarovski senior VP, shared in a statement. “Throughout our time working together, we’ve sought to push boundaries with innovative use of crystals on the runway and captivate consumers with dazzling retail collections. We cannot wait to showcase what’s in store for December 5.”
And we can’t wait to see it! The show, which is being filmed in Paris for the first time this year, will boast a Parisian theme with six segments: the Road Ahead, Mountain Romance, Secret Angel, Dark Angel, Pink Nation and Bright Night Angel. This outfit will appear in the Bright Night Angel portion of the show, alongside the $3 million Fantasy Bra, which will be worn by Jasmine Tookes.
The VS Fashion Show 2016 will air on CBS on Monday, December 5, at 10 p.m. ET.
