Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie Are Living it Up in Olympic Style in Pyeongchang

As co-anchors of the Today show, Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie pretty much always brighten our day, but following the duo on Instagram these last couple of weeks while they are in South Korea covering the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang has been pure joy. From makeup-free selfies in the Olympic Village to posing with some of our favorite members of Team USA while decked out in patriotic fashion, Kotb and Guthrie seem to be managing the 14-hour time difference just fine and living it up on the other side of the world. Team Work

Upon arriving in PyeongChang on Sunday, February 11, the ladies — decked out in the red, white and blue Ralph Lauren puffer coats worn by Team USA during the Opening Ceremony — posed with fellow Today host Al Roker and some of their crew on the South Korean shore.

Super Fan

Acting on behalf of all of us at home who wanted to befriend 17-year-old gold medalist Chloe Kim after her epic performance on the halfpipe, Kotb posted this snap of her rocking her Team USA coat and mittens while hanging with Kim and her family on Monday, February 12.

Squad Goals

Keeping the patriotic style going, Guthrie and Kotb were joined by Roker and fellow host Craig Melvin for a trip to Gangyeung food market on Tuesday, February 13. The group matched in blue coats and enjoyed some “delicious eats,” but Guthrie also admitted there were some delicacies she “wasn’t brave enough to try.”

Bow Down

Guthrie, dressed down in a bright red coat and jeans, seemed to have the best seat in the house for figure skater Adam Rippon’s incredible short program on Thursday, February 15.

Eat Up

Based on this yummy pic Kotb shared on Thursday, February 15, it looks like the Today team found some more familiar food to indulge in, and their white outerwear is serious winter style #goals.

Cheering Section

To watch Nathan Chen’s breathtaking free skate (which included a record six quad jumps) on Friday, February 16, Guthrie and Kotb went makeup-free in their best Olympic gear alongside Roker.

Girl Talk

If her and Johnny Weir’s candid figure skating commentary is any indication, we can only imagine the dish that went down during this gathering of Kotb, Guthrie and former Olympian Tara Lipinski on Sunday, February 18. We think Lipinski's cute beanie deserves a bronze medal at the very least.
