Dramatic Trains, Capes and Sleeves
It wouldn’t be a Hollywood award show without some drama, and, unlike last year’s ceremony where the wrong Best Picture winner was announced, this year’s drama came courtesy of statement-making dresses. While presenter Maya Rudolph opted for a red cape-like gown with a turtleneck and long sleeves, performer Andra Day gave us Marie Antoinette vibes in her voluminous Zac Posen number. Kelly Ripa, meanwhile, joked on Instagram that she was headed to the prom in her colorful Christian Siriano creation.
