Somethin' bout … this music video makes Ariana Grande finally want to let her hair down.

The "Be Alright" singer, 22, dropped a new music video for "Dangerous Woman" on Thursday, March 31, in which she ditches her signature half-ponytail hairstyle.

"♡ 🎬 dangerous woman visual 1 on Vevo," she wrote via Instagram to introduce its release.

In the clip, Grande's hair is parted in the middle and cascades down to her waist in soft, bedroom curls.

The look is one of the most undone 'dos the former Nickelodeon star has rocked, and matches the stripped-down, sexy vibes of the video.

To coordinate with the hairstyle, the "Focus" singer sports Bambi-length lashes and a brown smoky eye, as she rolls around in racy black lingerie and a lace choker.

Though it isn't typical to see the "One Last Time" singer's tresses unbound, she does give fans a glimpse of her natural texture every so often. "Peekaboo healthy curls," she wrote along with a four-way selfie of her voluminous tresses in September, adding, "long time no see."

The pop singer has admitted in the past that she wore the same hairstyle because her hair was so damaged after starring on Nickelodeon shows Victorious and its spinoff, Sam & Cat. "I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first 4 years of playing Cat… as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair," she wrote, defending her hair on Instagram in January 2014. "My real hair is back to brown and I wear extensions, but I wear it in a pony tail because my actual hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down. Trust me, it’s… difficult for me to have to wait forever for my natural hair to grow back and to have to wear more fake hair than every drag queen on earth combined."

What do you think of Ariana's smoldering video hair?
