They get paid millions for looking flawless, but how much exactly do they earn? Here’s a clue: more than the highest-paid actress last year, Angelina Jolie, who, according to Forbes, banked $33 million in 2012.
The magazine has released its annual World’s Highest-Paid Models ranking, and for the seventh consecutive year, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, 33, tops the list with $42 million in earnings for the past year, making her, incidentally, the bread-winner in her family (husband Tom Brady made a relatively puny $38.3 million). Besides modeling contracts with brands like Pantene, Oral-B, Chanel, and H&M, the business-savvy beauty has also made a bundle from her partnership with Brazilian footwear company Grendene and her cosmetics line, Sejaa.
Coming in second is Miranda Kerr, 30, who earned $7.2 million from lucrative campaigns with companies like Mango and Quantas, in addition to her skincare line, Kora.
Third is Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima, 32, who raked in $6 million, mostly from her contract with the lingerie retailer. She’s the brand’s highest-paid and most senior Angel.
Interestingly, all three models are also moms! To see the rest of the list, go to Forbes.com.
