The This Is What the Truth Feels Like singer, 46, stripped off her signature cat-eye and fire engine–red lipstick, revealing her radiant porcelain skin and naturally pink pout. Her platinum blonde locks cascaded in a tumble of messy waves — no curling iron needed!
Stefani, who’s mom of Kingston, Zuma and Apollo, has come clean about her love for makeup … and has even turned it into a business venture. Her Urban Decay collaboration boasts four types of red lipstick, one of Stefani’s staples.
“The way you talk, the way you eat, everything you have learned to do, you learn to do it in the right way so you don’t mess up the lipstick,” Stefani, who debuted her duet with love Blake Shelton on The Voice this week, once told Allure. But she says it’s worth the trouble to look pretty: “I just truly am passionate about makeup, and I wear it every day, no matter what. When I don’t wear makeup, it just doesn’t feel right. People think I’m insane, but I feel like it’s part of who I am that day and who I want to be.”
