The dreaded in-between phase! After getting her bangs cut in early March, Kim Kardashian is already in the process of growing them out. For the 2013 MTV Movie Awards in L.A. on Sunday, April 14, the pregnant reality star had to get creative with her red carpet hairstyle.

The 32-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's hairstylist, Chris McMillan, shares with Us Weekly how he created Kardashian's stunning side-swept look for the show. "We wanted a really simple, chic blow out. Kim's been trying to grow her bangs out, so I created a deep part to pull the bangs to the side," the Living Proof celebrity hairstylist explained. "We kept the blowout sleek with a little bit of texture."

How can fans copy her style?

"I used Living Proof Prime Style Extender while Kim's hair was still damp so that her style would last all night. Then I blew it dry with a round brush to create a no frizz blow out," McMillan shared. "I created a very deep part to tuck her bangs to the side. I used Hold Flexible Hairspray throughout her hair to create texture and a piecy look. I also used it to keep the bangs tucked away."
