Se-green-a Williams? The green beer and shamrocks might be put away, but Serena Williams is still in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit almost a week after the holiday.
The tennis star, 34, posted a pic via Instagram, debuting new, green-colored locks on Wednesday, March 23. Williams sported the vibrant hue in an ombré style, beginning with her natural brown roots, switching to a bright kelly pigment and finishing in a seafoam shade, reminiscent of Kesha’s foray into rainbow-colored hair.
Previously the Wimbledon winner rocked clavicle-length dark brunette tresses. But her green strands apparently go well beyond her shoulders.
“For Genie and Chrissie. U asked for it. Lol,” she captioned the smiley selfie of the new dye-job, calling out fellow tennis player Genie Bouchard.
