That moment when you're your own glam squad! Zendaya did her own makeup for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on Monday, February 15, and Us Weekly has the scoop on every product she used.
As she is CoverGirl's newest ambassador, Zendaya, 19, used only the brand's makeup to create her look, which included bronzed cheeks, a shimmering smoky eye and a glossy nude lip.
"The Grammys is a fun award show and a bit edgier than my last red carpet event, so my amazing stylist, Law Roach, and I decided to try a whole new approach," the "Something New" singer tells Us. "Together we picked out this awesome menswear-inspired suit and decided I would keep my makeup a bit more natural to balance out my look."
To start, Zendaya played up her eyes with a bit of drama. "I wanted to keep them soft, but with major lashes!" she shared. She used the highly pigmented natural shades in the TruNaked Eye Shadow Palette in Nude. Then, she defined her eyes with Intensify Me! Liquid Liner in Intense Black and boosted her lashes with Plumpify Mascara.
After that, the K.C. Undercover star focused on her face. She applied TruBlend Liquid Makeup in Caramel Beige, then added TruBlend bronzer and TruBlend blush for a fresh pop of color on her cheeks. She even used the lightest shade in the eye shadow palette as a highlighter for the top of her cheekbones.
Finally, Zendaya lacquered her lips by mixing three shades: Colorlicious Oh Sugar! In Caramel, Jumbo Gloss Balm Creams in Caramel Cream and Queen Collection Colorlicious Gloss in Premier Pink.
And she made sure to note, "I always finish any look by grooming my brows — it’s key!"
