A source tells Us Weekly that the newborn's mom Beyonce purchased a $3500 NurseryWorks VETRO Lucite crib at an NYC boutique.

Beyonce, 30, was accompanied by her sister Solange Knowles and mom Tina when she purchased the luxurious crib at the end of November. A source tells Us the singer also purchased a NurseryWorks mattress to fit the crib.

The Grammy winner and hubby Jay-Z, 42, welcomed baby Blue Saturday at NYC's Lenox Hill Hospital. "We are in heaven!" the proud parents said in a statement released Monday on Beyonce's website. "Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful... She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives."

Blue's crib will fit right in with her extravagant nursery. A source told Us in October that Beyonce and Jay-Z were building a 2,200 square foot nursery in their Tribeca apartment.

I'm an overly worried sort of mom so I wouldn't buy this crib merely because it seems very closed in. I'd be worried about air flow. Especially with that bumpy mattress/sheet. Otherwise I find it nice enough to look at.

Hmm, seems to be missing the wheel and water dish.
That doesn't look like a crib, more the plastic casing for the real crib. This crib is horrible and ugly, and yes it does look like a hard to clean cage.
