Chrissy Teigen is not having it. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model went off on Twitter on Wednesday, October 19, after followers accused her of holding her baby girl, Luna, wrong.
“This is not how a baby is held,” one user tweeted at the model, along with a recent photo of the star carrying Luna, 6 months, to a car in NYC with her husband, John Legend.
“Really because that’s how I’m f–king holding her,” Teigen, 30, snapped back on Twitter.
The follower then added: “I don’t give a crap where that baby popped out from! Do not hold a baby like a handbag!”
To which Teigen responded: “Well you hold your handbag like a f–king idiot then.”
And it didn’t stop there.
The model’s Twitter follower then added: “Nothing grinds my tits like a person holding a baby inappropriately! I almost grew up deformed coz I dislocated my arm for 2 days as a baby!”
Teigen then shut down the hater by explaining that for the Lip Sync Battle personality, things are a tad different than with the average mom.
“Let me know how you hold your baby when she’s about [to get] into a stroller and there are 20 camera flashes at night,” she replied. “Photos are literally split-second moments in time that evolve. I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers.”
She concluded with: “Please, do shut up.”
