Country Singer Mindy McCready Pregnant With Twins

Wednesday was quite the day for country singer Mindy McCready.
Hours after she refuted claims that she abducted her 5-year-old son, the 36-year-old McCready shared more family news with Us Weekly: She's five months pregnant with twins!
The New York Daily News reports that the babies' father is McCready's music producer boyfriend of two years, David Wilson.

McCready first made headlines Wednesday when authorities said she and her son, Zander -- who is currently in the care of McCready's mother -- disappeared from her father's Cape Coral, Fla., home Tuesday evening.
Declaring mother and son "safe, healthy and comfortable," the singer's publicist confirmed Zander "has been with his mother for more than 30 days. Law enforcement officials spoke with the child and saw Zander via Skype yesterday."
While she is able to visit her son, McCready does not have full custody of the boy; her mother does.
"I am working with lawyers to try to get all this straightened out," the singer told Access Hollywood via email after the Associated Press reported that the Department of Children and Families filed a missing persons report. “I did not steal my child, as it would be impossible for me to kidnap what already belongs to me! There never was any missing persons report and never an Amber Alert."
News of McCready's pregnancy was first reported by the National Enquirer.

14i agree with dawana. now i don't know if she has HAD anymore seizures since that 1 eppisode aired,but,i'm sure she's taking extra precaution.
Actually Britney Spears lost custody of her sons too. She can still see them but her ex won full custody..
She was on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and stated on that show that she gave her mom custody of her son due to her addictive maners and that she wanted it back and it was the hardest thing she ever had to do in her life. If the relationship she is in now is a better one than with Zander's dad then happy for her. But given her medical issues (seizures) she needs to be very careful. I do NOT think she has lost her mind...she was in a bad place for a while and hopefully she has fixed the problems in her life to where she can carry these twins to term and have a safe delivery and hopefully one day get her son back. Shame on anyone who runs her down because she doesn't live on Twitter and state to the world where she is going 24/7. GO MINDY!!!!
Children don't belong to us....they are loaned to us for safekeeping. Her statement that she can't kidnap what already belongs to her is enough to tell me she is not ready to be a full time mom.

Shes been in and out of rehab for drug and alcohol problems for quite some time. Definitely not stable enough for another child, let alone 2! I can see these babies getting taken away as well.

I don't know anything about her, but if she's a famous country singer, she must have a lot of money. It's not easy to lose custody of a child, especially to a parent with a good income....so did she willingly leave her son so she could live the 'good' life? If so, that is sad. Even Britney Spears got to keep her kids...so what is the story here?
