Gisele: My Son Benjamin, Nearly 2, Thinks Broccoli Is "Dessert"

What a trickster!
In order to keep her supermodel figure looking its absolute best, supermodel Gisele Bundchen watches what she eats -- and she's got her son Benjamin, 22 months, in on the act as well.
"My children, they are like white canvases," Bundchen, 31, tells the December issue of British Vogue. "When Benjamin eats broccoli, he thinks it's dessert!"

Adorable Benjamin is the first child for the catwalker and footballer husband Tom Brady. The New England Patriots quarterback also has a 4-year-old son, Jack, with ex girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
Calling stepson Jack her "eldest," Bundchen dishes on his latest hobby. "Y'know, my eldest Jack, he's gonna be starting [kung fu] this fall."
The outspoken Brazilian stunner also seemed to slight her five sisters in her British Vogue chat.
Speaking about her own work ethic, she noted, "Yeah, well, like I tell my five sisters, who don't work at it very hard at all, whatever you put in, you get out. I'm not afraid of working hard at anything, whatever it is. I just always want to be the best that I can."

Back in August 2010, Bundchen stirred up controvery when she told Harper's Bazaar her staunch opinions on the topic of breastfeeding. "I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."
She later clarified: "My intention in making a comment about the importance of breastfeeding has nothing to do with the law. It comes from my passion and beliefs about children. Becoming a new mom has brought a lot of questions, I feel like I am in a constant search for answers on what might be the best for my child."

@Christine Russell and @Amanda Dean ,i totally agree with you,even thougth i dont have step-kids ,but i have a step-father since age 6 ,i m 42 ,and he always refer to me and my sisters as his kids,and to add to my comment ,i m from brasil like giselle,so i think i understand her point of view , is very comun in brasil ,at least was 20 years ago,well to finalizei i think she said in a good way,not to target anybody or anything,,,

I am a step-mother and I never call my kids, step-kids. I don't ever want them to think they took a back seat to my biological children. They do not call me Mom because they have a mom. I am not trying to replace her. As a matter of fact, she and I are on great terms and approves of the relationship I have with the kids. Mothers need to realize that it's better for their kids to have a close relationship with their stepmom than a distant one. Wouldn't you rather know your children's stepmother loves them, instead of treats them like dirt?
@Allison, I completely agree with you. I used to think she was absolutely gorgeous until she spoke about how she didn't gain much preg weight and basically slammed mothers who do. She does not live in reality at all. And it's gross that her husband looks like her brother.
WHATEVER! She married a man with a child so technically he IS her son too....if she NEVER mentioned him and talked about Benjamin all the time then you'd act like she was the wicked stepmother! You can't ever please people, that's why she and Tom really could give a rat's a** about any of our opinions.
What would really make her wake the hell up is if she had a child with special needs.
She is so obnoxious! First she acts like the older one is all hers (he's NOT her son, he's her step-son..he has a mother), then she says her water birth was perfect and painless (because OF COURSE it doesn't hurt for a supermodel to give birth), then she claims that breastfeeding should be mandated (whether she retracted that statement later or not), then she states in an interview that her son was basically potty-trained at six months, and now she says this (once again painting herself as mother if the year).....every time she speaks she gets less beautiful to me...
