Double the birthday fun! Jennifer Lopez made sure her twins had a very special 5th birthday on Friday, Feb. 22. The singer/actress treated son Max and daughter Emme with a trip to The Grove in L.A.
Dressed casually in a red sweatsuit, Lopez, 43, walked around the outdoor shopping mall holding Max's hand, while her boyfriend, Casper Smart, carried Emme.
In addition to shopping, Lopez and her boyfriend of over a year brought the birthday boy and girl to Planet Dailies to have some pizza for lunch, E! News reports. After, they visited Dylan's candy bar for dessert.
But that wasn't the only treat the twins received. Earlier in the day, Lopez shared a photo of the homemade cupcakes she baked for Max and Emme to take with them to school.
"Happy Birthday Coconuts! 5 years of joy and true love!" the proud mom tweeted. "School cupcakes. Mom duties. Best feeling ever."
Lopez shares custody of the twins with estranged husband Marc Anthony. The two split in July 2011, and Anthony, 44, filed for divorce in April 2012. The divorce, however, has yet to be finalized.
Lopez recently told USA Today that their kids "didn't know anything" about their separation at first. "They're starting to figure it out now, a year and a half later," she said. "They were just 3 at the time."
